Eight years ago I lost my 2 dogs and my cat, and I'm still not ready to get another animal companion at this time, however I find it very therapeutic to visit with other's animals.

Astrum took great care of our dogs and our home. She has a gentle nature that our dogs gravitated to and they were very relaxed when we returned. We would highly recommend Astrum for your pet and home care needs!
This was my first time using Rover and was a little nervous. Upon meeting Astrum, I knew our 2 senior dogs and 1 senior cat would be treated with the best nurturing care. Astrum checked in twice a day with pictures and updates. She made us feel comfortable knowing they were in their own home taken care of with love and kindness. One of my dogs takes insulin twice a day, Astrum took great care of her medical needs. We came home to a clean home, which is always appreciated :)
Astrum was SO helpful for me and my dog Junebug. I needed a last minute series of drop in visits starting the same day I contacted Astrum. They were super responsive, flexible, and Junebug was so well taken care of. I came home to a very happy dog! I will definitely be working with Astrum again. :)

I typically schedule a meet-n-greet before confirming any bookings just to make sure we're a good fit and also to meet the animal(s) in their care giver's presence. This is less stressful for the animals as well.
A typical day
I typically follow the owner's instructions regarding the structure of the day for their fur babies. Just leave me a detailed list of instructions and I'm happy to oblige.

I recently sold my home in Austin, Texas and have been traveling around to National Parks so my schedule is very flexible. I'll be stationary in the Longmont area February - April 2023 so it'd be great to help people out again with pet sitter needs. For overnights, I will be at your home most of the time only stepping out to run errands/shopping, or going to the gym.
