About ASHA

8 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello, all! My name is Asha and I'm new to the Charlotte area. I work from home and I am highly mobile which gives me the flexibility to care for your pet - in or outside of the home. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of lounging/play space for your small/medium dog. While, I don't have direct access to a backyard, I am a short 3 minute walk from walking trails and greenery here in my complex. My dog loves walking the trails and I'm sure yours will too! My place is the perfect place for all you pet-parents who have to travel during the day, overnight, or head into an office.

A bit about me: I am a Florida native who absolutely loves nature and animals. I am a dog-mama to an 8-year-old cockapoo named Zuma Blue. I have 2 years of animal welfare experience, in addition to countless years of loving on, caring for, and watching the pets of family members and friends. I am ok administering oral meds (as needed), enjoy going on multiple daily walks, and chances are I will probably sing and dance with your babies (if they let me!). There will plenty of cuddles, belly-rubs, and photos coming your way (so you can rest-assured your pet is in good hands).

Growing up, my parents didn't let me own a dog so I loved on everyone else's, even pet-sitting for my grandmother and aunts. In 2008, I decided to finally bring home the dog I rescued from work. He has been, and I believe all pets are, the greatest addition to life!

When I'm not performing doting-dog lover duties, I enjoy baking, yoga, hiking, travelling, and counseling/mentoring.

I look forward to caring for your pet(s)!

I always knew my China was in good hands with Asha. Hence, she was my go-to sitter whenever I needed to travel over the weekends or do early morning projects at work. She has a true love for animals and it is evident in the way she cares for her dog and for others. She even trained China to follow the "sit" command and I am forever grateful for her patience and effort. What I love most about Asha's pet-sitting style is that she caters to one of two dogs at a time, allowing for a more personal experience with more 1:1 contact. She always made sure China was fed on schedule, got lots of exercise, and lots of belly-rubs. I definitely recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a genuine dog-lover who will take care of your dogs as well as she takes care of her own --even more so if you are looking for something long-term.
