Tails of Joy Pet Care

Pet care experience

Hey all, I'm an Ontario Teacher and former volunteer at the Toronto Humane Society, and I love to take care of animals whenever I can! With over 10 years of hands-on experience in caring for animals, I am thrilled to offer you top-notch pet-sitting services. Not only do I have an extensive history of looking after dogs, (whether it is through Rover or people I personally know); but I also have experience caring for various animals including cats, birds, rabbits, chickens, and guinea pigs. As a proud cat mom to two adorable kitties, your dogs need to be cat-friendly if you're considering booking them for boarding at my place. But don’t worry, we can always have a meet-and-greet session to ensure they all get along! If you're looking for an experienced, and dedicated pet sitter, look no further! I’m your gal! Please reach out to me if you require my services. Let’s make your pet's day as joyous as they make ours. 🐾

As a first time user of this service for my 5-month old puppy, I cannot recommend Ariba enough. She took exceptional care of our fur baby. Her detailed description and previous reviews is what drew me to initially engage with Ariba - she is definitely a 5 star (or higher). She really made me feel at ease, she offered to meet in advance to put my worries to rest, we thoroughly discussed the needs of my puppy and she even helped me with the app when I made a few errors. Throughout our family trip we received pictures and updates - our puppy was loving the attention and Ariba was keeping to the schedule we provided. She is a lovely person and is really dedicated to the animal she is looking after. I highly recommend Ariba.

Ariba has provided me with excellent pet care services for the past two years. My dog adores her, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing that my baby is being so well cared for! I would highly recommend Ariba, she is knowledgeable and provides exceptional care.

Ariba was really great with my golden retriever Henri. She is very sweet, Lots of communication and many walks with lots of playtime! She looked after him for two nights at her place and everything was great. He was a tired boy when I picked him up! I could tell he really enjoyed his time there and he was sad to see them go. A huge thanks to Ariba for taking great care of my dog.

Ariba was super attentive to both my dogs and their individual needs! She was communicative and always asked if she had questions about the house or the dogs. I really appreciated how happy my dogs were with her - no stress at all!

For rabbits, do they need time to hop around outside their enclosure?) 10. Does your pet have any favorite toys or activities? 11. Are there any specific fears or triggers that can cause your pet to become anxious or aggressive? 12. Does your pet have any behavioral issues or quirks that I should be aware of? 13. A typical day

For Dogs: Walks and Exploration: Regular walks in parks, trails, or around the neighborhood to explore and socialize. Playtime: Engage in games like fetch, tug-of-war, and hide and seek with toys. Mental Stimulation: Use puzzle toys or hide treats to encourage problem-solving and keep their brain active (if you have toys like this available, definitely bring them along!) Training Sessions: Work on basic commands or tricks, reinforcing good behavior with treats. Socialization: Visit dog parks for interaction with other dogs, if the dog is sociable. Cuddle Time: Spend lots of quality time petting and cuddling, helping the dog to feel loved and secure! For Cats: Interactive Play: Utilize toys like feather wands, and balls to encourage active play. Climbing and Scratching: Provide cat trees and scratching posts for climbing, scratching, and lounging. Hunting Games: Hide treats or use toy mice to stimulate their natural hunting instincts. Window Watching: Set up a cozy spot by the window for them to watch birds and the outside world. Grooming: Brushing the cat's fur not only helps with shedding but is also a bonding activity. Cuddle Time: Cats often love affection, so providing a warm lap or gentle petting can be very comforting. **These activities will be tailored to the individual preferences and needs of each pet to ensure they have an enjoyable and fulfilling time! ??
