About Kehar

3 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I'm an experienced dog owner and a pet rescue volunteer. I currently have one dog, Apollo (siberian husky), who gets along well with other dogs and cats. Since I've volunteered for the rescue, Apollo is used to having other dogs in the house temporarily and he is a very good host. We are very active and walk about 2 miles every day -- tired dogs are the best behaved dogs!

We would like to make your stay with us as easy and smooth as possible, and so we will do our best to keep your dog feeling comfortable in our home. Just let us know any special needs or requests you have when we meet. We will even keep in touch with you throughout the visit to let you know how your fur-baby is doing so that you can enjoy being away!

We require that all boarded pets be fully vaccinated, as our pets always are. We do not accept aggressive pets, and if any pet displays aggressive behavior while staying with us, they will be kept separate from the others.

We will care for any special needs pets, administering medication on a schedule, caring for wounds or surgery recovery, giving special assistance to older dogs or anxious pets, and offering a continuance of your training methods for puppies.

Your beloved pets will be safe and loved in our home! We look forward to meeting you and your dog before you book your stay with us.

I've lived with my friends Kehar and Sherlyn for a few weeks in between moves, and have known them both for years, allowing me to see first-hand what kind of environment they provide for their dog, Apollo. I knew him from when he was a puppy, and the care with which they have trained Apollo is evident in how he interacts with his owners and newcomers (human and canine alike). I often explore parks with the three of them, as they make it a point to take Apollo out to new outdoor areas, dog parks, dog-friendly establishments, and events. Additionally, the area they live in has many pet-owners, allowing for a lot of interactions with other dogs at a large park in the complex where Apollo walks daily, with an area where dogs can roam off-leash. Apollo is very friendly, energetic, but also low-key (I was scared of big dogs prior to hanging out with this lovable and fluffy husky) and his owners are caring, responsible, and flexible people.

This was my first time leaving my pup Rye since I rescued her. Kehar made me feel very at ease about the process and Rye LOVED his dog Apollo. He sent me photos every day of her at the dog park and playing at his home. I will definitely bring Rye back to stay again!

Loved Kehar! The dogs enjoyed every minute they where there! He kept sending me updates and pictures! I will definitely be taking my pups back to him :)
My dog Cuddles was welcome and treated like he lived there. I was sent pictures every day and Kehar took him to a dog park. It was his first time away and his dog Apollo has great manners.
My dog came home happy and tired. He has even grown and learned from this . He does not jump on us and other dogs.....he is calmer.
Kehar texted me to and let me know Cuddles was doing great. Sent me pictures of him taking walks too. I would recommend him as the best person to care for your dog. He also has voluntary work in a pet shelter . We will be back . Very Happy with our experience ....better than the Vet.
