Hello! My name is Annie and I'm 23 years old. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Norbert College in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I will be returning to graduate school at SNC this fall to pursue my Master of Arts degree.
I absolutely love all animals, but I do have a special place in my heart for dogs. I accept all breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs, so long as the individual dog is friendly towards me. I provide dog sitting services in your own home. I used to be able to provide care in my own home as well, but I am now currently renting and am unable to host animals at my place, as the landlord is fairly strict. However, I have found that many of the dogs I cared for have preferred being in their own home environment as compared to a foreign home. They are usually more relaxed being in their own territory with familiar sights and sounds, so I would be happy to commute to your home to care for your special animal.
I have years of experience dog sitting for various employers, family members, friends, neighbors, and previous DogVacay clients. Last year while studying abroad in Montpellier, France, I had an internship at a veterinarian clinic where I worked with dogs on a daily basis and learned how to administer medicine and also helped to provide care for the animals in our vet office. I do also accept cats for a CatVacay experience as well as various other small animal breeds, and even horses as I used to be a competitive horseback rider! Because of my love for animals and animal welfare, I am a card carrying member of the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and have a picture of my membership cards on my "photos" section.
Please feel free to message me if you have any additional questions about me or about the services I provide. I look forward to meeting and working with both you and your special pup!
