Hi there, My name is Rusty and I'm currently a full-time student and run my own business. I love all kinds of animals and I understand that sometimes our furry friends need some extra attention. My fiancée works in animal welfare and I've fostered numerous puppies and kittens. My unit is about 900 sqft with a secured patio and is on the second floor. I just adopted my first dog, Cole, and our training has been going very well. He comes from a large litter of ten, 6 of which we were able to foster and 3 of which stayed within our family. I started fostering and watching dogs in the summer of 2015 in order to prepare for one day having a dog of my own. I now have been blessed with an amazing Australian Shepherd who might be too smart for his own good. We have sleep overs with his siblings both in my home and outside of my home. We've also been taking him to puppy play groups (like a small indoor dog park for youngsters) and I'm excited to get to introduce him to more furry friends. I would prefer our dogs get to know one another (for new clients) before approving a booking. I live in west Denver, a mile from Green Mountain, next to a small park. I'm always happy to take dogs on a run or a hike if they are up for it. I use positive reinforcement (click-and-treat) as my primary method of training. I do have a roommate, who also loves animals, but he will not be watching over your pooch- just me. I'm also a fan of kittens and cats, please inquire if interested.
