About Liz

5 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I grew up surrounded by dogs shedding, drooling, and pawing. I love the playtime with dogs both indoors and out. Some of my fondest memories involve exploring trails, city side streets, and keeping each other happily active. I love getting to know the diverse personalities of dogs and how to best keep them happy, safe, and healthy. I understand how they require nuanced approaches, similar to humans, that can best satisfy them. The emotional and unique personalities are the best part of spending time with dogs. I have walked dogs who try to detach their leash and burst out into the world. I have walked dogs who see the leash as their greatest enemy, to those who slowly meander, taking in all of the smells.
I also grew up owning different rodents. From guinea pigs, to rats, to gerbils. I love hanging out with the little furry friends and making them feel comfortable and loved. I have experience cleaning their cages, feeding, and maintaining their water and temperature.
Many cats have passed through my life as well. Though I have never owned one, I have watched many. Some timid felines and those with more robust personalities. Their diverse personalities and energies are so fun to be around!

When caring for pets, I generally make sure they get adequate exercise, have not attacked or destroyed any items, and are well tended to during their time of separation. This includes a long walk and a few short walks throughout the day for the pups, as well as some solid playtime. This goes the same for other animals, to maintain their stimulation and ensure their happiness. I will maintain their diet and ensure to notice any changes.
If the animals are a bit more aggressive, I would require a first meeting prior to sitting.
I can't wait to get to know more intrepid and cuddly friends!

Liz is so attentive and responsible with all of the dogs she has cared for over the years I have used her services! She treats my dogs as if they are her own and I always feel comfortable leaving my pups with her whether for a walk or for overnight stays. No matter what, I know they will be safe, well exercised, and enjoy a loving person to entertain them. She even once brought over a new chew toy for my new puppy, Yeti while she teething. It was so thoughtful!
