For as long as I can remember I've wanted a dog! When I was young, my parents were very old fashioned and wouldn't allow us to have a dog so I had a hamster, fish and birds. But they don't fill the void the way a dog does ! My brother and I got a chocolate lab when we were a bit older in hopes we could make up for lost time, however we lived with our sister who turned out to be very allergic and couldn't live with the dog. We ended up finding a great home for her in Barrie, but we were both heartbroken. I've always been a go to dog sitter as everyone around me knows I love dogs so I've had experience dog sitting. I lived in a house throughout the summer to care for 2 older dogs, I have stayed in family friends homes while they are on vacation to make sure their dog gets lots of love and attention, and I've also been a caretaker for my brother and sister in law's Bulpei when she needs a check in, a walk or an overnight sit. I am flexible and when it comes down to it I am happy to help because I love being around amazing animals! I call it dog therapy :) I have a big backyard closed off with a fence!
