I am a veterinary assistant at a local animal hospital and a former animal shelter worker with 3 years of experience, from 2012 to 2015, caring for homeless dogs and cats of just about every breed under the sun, in addition to rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, other small mammals, and birds. I have worked with animals of every temperament imaginable, from extremely shy to high-energy and out-going, and have made it my personal objective to treat every animal with the utmost patience and loving care.

Andrea is a kind and loving sitter for animals. At a point when I was not feeling comfortable taking our dog to a kennel while my husband and I were out of town, Andrea stepped in, stayed in our home and did a wonderful job caring for our dog for three weeks! She did a wonderful job, and our dog was happy and we were happy. I would definitely ask Andrea to help us again.
We've hired Andrea to dog sit multiple times over the past several years. Time frames have ranged from a weekend to several days, which included spending the night at our house. Our dogs have included an ambitious 60lb. English pointer and a 150lb English mastiff. Andrea is knowledgeable about all aspects of animal care including dealing with medicine. I would absolutely recommend her for pet sitting.

Availability
I also have taken a number of different pet-sitting jobs for friends and family over the last few years and can provide once-or-twice daily checks for feeding, watering, and potty-time, as well as overnight care in your own home. I prefer to stick to an established schedule that your pet is already used to as much as possible in order to minimize any stress during their time away from you, but I can also take your pet to the park or to the dog park provided they are up to date on vaccines.
