Haha, I wish I owned a cabana! Hello, my name is Anya and I am certified in Veterinary Assisting and I have also received education in animal care/animal training, as well as pet sitting(can show proof of my certification and training). I have owned a variety of pets ever since I was a small child and have been working with animals ever since middle school when I lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and would care for my neighbor’s Long Horn Cattle after school as well as help out at the local stables and pet sit/dog walk for my neighbors. My first official job at the age of sixteen was with the Zoological Society of San Diego where I aided each department including the animal keepers on a day to day basis; I also continued to dog walk as well as pet sit many different kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to the more exotic breeds of reptiles, fish and birds, just on a more unofficial basis (It was all through word of mouth and I was not officially listed on any particular website). I am new to the Phoenix area; for a time I actually worked as a phlebotomist and medical lab assistant for Scripps in San Diego county (can show proof of my certification), but ultimately found myself returning to my love for animals with the added bonus that it allows me to devote more time to furthering my education and writing. I have owned dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, rodents, etc. I have plenty of hands on experience and I always make a point to keep written records for every pet I watch over as far as each individual owners expectations and directions for caring for their animal. My apartment is clean, neat and pet friendly; I have a VERY large balcony and my entire complex is well maintained, green and VERY pet friendly. I am pretty sure that all of my neighbors have dogs or at least a cat.
As far as watching your fur baby within the parameters of your own home, my motto is to leave the place cleaner/better than how I found it; furthermore I am only a text or phone call away if you needed to check up on anything.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them : )
Just as a final note -- if you have a dog that excessively barks, I may not be able to care for them within my own apartment for an extended period of time, as I have my neighbors to consider. Thank You!
