Hello! I have spent my entire life around dogs and I absolutely LOVE them! There is nothing better than a dogs love and loyalty. Heidi, who is a lab/collie mix, is the first dog I have independently taken care of and trained. She has such a sweet personality and even at 3 years old she has the energy of a puppy. She loves the company of other dogs to play with and has never been aggressive towards another animal. Even with Heidi's age she has proven to have a very patient demenour with all ages of dogs. Her best furry friend is a nearly 1 yr old lab mix named Remington. She has known Remy since he was just a little guy and played with him so gently and patiently. She would love to be friends with your dog as well. Also if you want to see more of Heidi to know her personality better, you can follow her on Insta at not_heidiklum My current schedule is very open throughout the daytime and evening hours while I am looking for a different career path. I prefer to watch the dogs at my house while I search online and can still play with the pups. I am also a very active person who is involved in the CrossFit community. I love being outside and going for long walks/jogs with furry company. Your furbaby will never be bored under my watch. Multiple walks per visit and always a friend in Heidi to play with. I also love working with dogs on learning new tricks. I have successfully taught Heidi to sit, lay down, spin, high five(sitting and standing), shake with each paw, "bang"/play dead, catch, and currently working on roll over. If you give me permission, I will also work with your pup to learn any new tricks you may want them to do. Also with permission, I would love to take the dogs to the dog park to really run around, play fetch and get their energy out. Our frequented dog park would be Nunziato field (near union square). When going to the dog park with multiple dogs, I will have them ride in my Ford Edge suv so as to have plenty of space and a quick way to get there without getting too tired on the way or back. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I do have a small area on the side of our house that is grassy and fun to smell around. We live on a dead end street away from any busy streets. The only other person who will have a lot of interaction with your pup would be my fiance, Dan, who loves dogs just as much as I do. We have lived together for over a year now and he has become Heidi's best pal. He loves giving her treats for tricks as well as going on walks with us. We do have a roommate David who is rarely home but also loves dogs too! He is great with Heidi when he is home. Your pup will be in loving care through their entire stay with me. There is nothing better than dog cuddles and kisses every minute of every day. I look forward to all the fun times ahead and adorable photos to share!
