About Amy

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello,

My name's Amy. My spouse Andrew and I both have a passion for pets and animals. Andrew grew up on a farm and has owned and fostered several dogs and I have had a variety of my own experiences raising pets throughout the years. I have taken courses in the Animal Health Technology program, have volunteered in numerous Vets offices and currently volunteer as a dog walker at the SPCA. 2 years ago we got our first family dog Ruby which we have raised from a puppy. She is very well behaved with a gentle demeanor and loves to have the company of other pets around. We have a very good home environment and will take care of your pet as if they were our own. We are very flexible with times and dates however, we do both work normal business hour jobs (Monday to Friday 8-4) which means pets will either need to be respectful of the home or crate trained if we are to host throughout the week. We guarantee that your pet will go home tired and want to come back! Please send us a message to inquire.

Regards,

Amy

I immediately felt comfortable asking Amy to look after Odin because of how patient and loving she was with her own dog Ruby! Amy's rules are firm but fair, and she never hesitates to get down on the ground to snuggle and play with my dog or her own. I think Odin thinks that he's the one on vacation when we drop him off at Amy's :)

Having known Amy for her entire life, I am very qualified to say that she loves dogs more than anyone else I know. She has always had a fascination for them since she was a very young child and never showed a fear like some children do. I feel that dogs sense her love for them and are always attracted to her. We have spent many hours together, walking the homeless dogs from the SPCA and walking/playing with the dogs we always had at home. She now has a dog of her own that she has done an excellent job of training and is a very much-loved puppy! If you want someone to take care of your dog for you that will love it and care for it as much as you do, then Amy is the person to call!

Amy and Andrew (and Ruby!) were great, and I came back to a very tired but happy puppy. I would highly recommend them!
My dog's first stay with Amy for a full week was a huge success. Amy and Andrew are not only friendly dog-lovers, they are also very knowledgable, understanding and cater to each individual dog's needs. During our meet and greet, Ruby, the resident dog, was very friendly and respectful towards my dog, who is a bit shy when meeting new dogs. I got picture updates of outdoor walks and snuggles on the couch throughout the week, which helped me enjoy my trip to the fullest, knowing my dog was in good hands and enjoying her vacay. I found my dog happy, healthy and comfortably tired when I went to pick her up. I booked the next vacay with Amy right away. Thanks, Amy and Andrew, for providing a loving home for Mixx while I was away!

Amy is very accommodating and we highly recommend her. Milo loved his stay and would go back again!
Amy was awesome with Jack. He and her dog Ruby went for a big hike and he came back happy and tired.
Kobe had day care with Amy and Andrew and dog Ruby. Everything went well. Amy was very responsive in communicating. I will be using Amy again for future boarding.
