Hello, my name is Victoria, I watch pets part time hopefully full time soon, I love working with animals, I've been around them my whole life, my first dog was a Chow Chow/St Bernard mix, she was the best dog, super friendly, playful and protective when needed, she was a gentle giant. I know the bond you and your furry friend have and I know they would have a great time with me and my furbabies while you are away for a short time. when I was 14 I worked at the Humane Society in Tampa with my aunt I wanted to foster all the animals, at 17 I worked at a groomers for 6 months then a boarding/daycare facility for 6months. I am CRP and First Aid certified for dogs and cats so your pup or kitty will always be safe with me.
I have a 5yo cat so your dog MUST be cat friendly, if you are unsure let me know the breed and their personality, I have introduced my cat to several dogs that the owner was unsure about how their dog would react to her and most of them loved her right away especially labs, my cat thinks she's a dog so as long as your pup treats her like one she'll fit in, but if you know that your dog is NOT cat friendly then do not ask me to watch them at MY house it would be way too dangerous and I would never put my animal or others at risk like that, all unsure dogs will have to have a meet n greet BEFORE sitting at my house is allowed.
I offer a lot of services even taking them to the groomers or vet appointments while your at work or on vacation, I do a little bit of training for simple obedience and can take your pup to the dog park while you are at work for exercise and socialization.
The bathing includes ear and eye cleaning, nail trimming, and teeth brushing, please let me know of any shampoos that cannot be used on your pups skin if they have sensitive skin or you can feel free to bring your own shampoo, sometimes upon owner request I shave dogs for summer or trim them just a bit for winter, I do light grooming.
If you do book with me I give you a reminder checklist 1-2 nights before your arrival. Please review the 2 copies of the checklists I send you to ensure your pup will have everything during their visit.
Also upon arrival I would like for you to fill out DogVacay sitters guide, you can print it yourself and have it ready or you can fill out at arrival, ALL DOGS OR CATS need to be up to date on shots, if an accident happens I need to know that your dog is healthy and can't give other dogs rabies or any other illnesses.
1. Leash is a Must!!
2.Enough food for the length of their stay, (this one can be tricky as I have had dogs stay longer then expected, I will buy the exact same food for your pet if they run out but will charge you the price the food costs)
3.Bowls are not required but preferred.
4.Any blankets, beds, toys or treats that will make them more comfortable is always preferred, especially for nervous dogs, crates are fine too!! Some dogs find comfort in their crate even if it's a big crate please bring it if they will be comfortable there.
I'm always happy to have you book with me and do business with you even at last minute, Message me and I will reply as soon as possible!! Any questions are okay!! Especially first time pet sitter parents. :)
