I'm located on a safe, quiet part of W. Olympic Blvd. just one block west of La Cienega in Los Angeles (my neighborhood is called Pico Robertson and it borders both the City of Beverly Hills).
I worked for 6.5 years as a veterinary medical technician (and for 14 years in the veterinary health care industry) so I can confidently give basic oral medications or injections (contact me about other special needs) as needed. Plus you can count on me to recognize if your pet ever needs to be taken to a veterinarian while in my care.
I work only part time at a local hotel and care in my home is shared by myself and my wife. We are present with our guest pups all day, unless you and I work something out specific for your pet. Contact me anytime to discuss options prior to a "Meet & greet," for example if you need to know when I'll be at work for part of the day. In general I walk my canine guests four times a day (sometimes more) through the beautiful neighborhoods that surround my apartment building. Plenty of grass, flowers, and other sniffing joy to keep them excited--not to mention the lucky occasional squirrel sighting!
The living unit itself is a very clean, air conditioned, 100% smoke and drug free, 2Bd/2Ba., top-floor apartment (a three-story building with elevator).
***By the way, I'm perfectly okay with looking in on or staying with your cat too.
I work well with dogs who can use improvement in their "social graces." If I can build a regular relationship with your pet I can usually produce noticeable positive behavior changes. No charge, since it benefits me as much as the pet and pet-parent.
We do have a dog of our own, her name is Skye. She's a 14yr old, spayed female Otterhound/Australian Shepherd mix. She weighs 60 Lbs. but looks a lot bigger due to all her hair. She's very mellow and loving and would be just thrilled to meet you and your four legged children.
