PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY THROUGH! Thanks!
Hi! I'm Deborah. I'm a host here at DogVacay and........ I LOVE dogs!
Now my/our goal for your precious pooch while you are away is to provide a safe, warm, and comfortable environment. The last thing you need to do is worry that your pet is not safe or happy.
We will treat your dog like one of the family, like a grandparent or cousin visiting or like best friends spending the night (sometimes it's like that) Sometimes it is like going away to camp, staying with friends, sleeping in bunks (not literally) No private rooms with spas. Just dogs, fun and playing.
We live in a small, but cute little house. However, we have a big interesting yard. Our yard has many different areas to explore and play. We also have a pool that is gated off when necessary. Shady fruit trees and a garden. Lots of spaces.
Our front door is also gated, Keeping pets extra safe and secure.
LOUIE is an American Bull Dog/ Dalmatian mix. ( Bullmatian) She is four years old. She is humble, sweet, playful, lazy, lovable and patient. She kind of goes with the flow. She also knows she is the alpha dog, so she keeps order. She makes sure no one gets hurt and that they stay safe. She is a very responsible dog.
TOBIE is a Standfordshire Bull Terrier runt. We recently adopted her from the shelter. She is just over one years old. She is very very smart. Quick learner. Playful, lovable, and fast. She is very small and has had a few surgeries. So she is not a ruff and tuff type. She is our little lap dog.
NOTE: Although Louie's and Tobie's breed may fit in the pitbull category, I can promise you, they do not act aggressive at all. If you feel unsure about this, then a meet and greet is the best way to show you. I have a great amount of returning guests both with big dogs and little dogs. They are like family! And no one ever gets hurt.
A meet and greet is a way for us to see if our dogs get along. To see if you feel comfortable and for me to also decide if your dog will be a good fit for our dogs and our other guest's dogs. I have to make sure EVERY dog is safe.
Meet and Greets are optional, However, if your dog is not fixed, then it is required. If you have a semi aggressive dog, then it will be required as well.
We love going on walks and to the dog park. We take the whole gang of dogs when we go. Quite interesting at times. If you prefer us not to walk your dog or go to the dog park, that is fine too. We are flexible.
We have TWO older cats who tolerate our dog party. Your dog will never see them and if so it is from a far. (basically they're fenced off) So if your dog does not like cats.....it's okay.
I have a computer science degree and have worked the past ten years with special needs children in the public school system. ( No longer)
I found the constant educational red tape and demands became a bit much, so I decided to start watching dogs three years ago and I love it!
We are opening our private home to watch your pet. Please respect our property.
Please be prompt when dropping off and picking up your pet. Just let us know if you are late, it is never a problem.
THINGS TO BRING:
Pick up and drop off times within the hour. (REQUIRED)
Leash/Harness( Yes Please)
Food for your pet's stay. (Required)
Medicine or supplements
Blanket, mattress, or pillow. ( I have extras)
If your dog is crate trained. You will need to provide a crate. The crate provides some dogs with a sense of security. Also it is a place for your pet to rest when they become stressed or are unable to relax. ( I do have four crates available for convenience) (Medium, Large and 2 XLarge)
I will send you updates daily, unless you've been here a bunch of times. Then I just post on Instagram and Facebook. @ ALL 4 THE DOGZ
I was featured on ABCNews 10 last year. I have all my guests to thank! They all have great dogs and I love watching them.
Okay, hopefully you have read this whole thing.
Ready to Book? I hope to see you soon!
