Hello my name is Alicia I'm a 21 year old college student and I'm interested in helping take care of your fur babies! Since I am a full time student my hours are a little crazy therefore, I do try to make the days that I have more time available for looking after your pets. I currently have one female Shih Tzu named Minnie and two male long haired cats named Max and Oliver. I give my own dog oral medication multiple times therefore, I am able to for your dog as well. I have had dogs and cats before as well as; birds, lizards, hamsters and fish. I have walked a lovely golden retriever while I was in school for a few months just last year. The reason I had to stop unfortunately was that I had gotten a job out in Oakville and was hard to go back and forth to make sure I was able to walk the dog. I do have experience in dog-sitting; I have watched over and walked/trained a friend's dog many times as well as watched over three dogs at once for many over night stays. I have also fostered a mother cat and her five kittens that she had in my backyard. My family and I helped find all the kittens including the mother a new loving home. I have taken a "leadership" course at the SPCA a few years back. The course included washing out kennels, walking dogs, playing with cats and dogs, and watch over smaller animals (hamsters, bunnies etc.). I was able to work out on the floor and help with some adoptions also. It was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot from it. You can be 100% confident in leaving your fur baby with me and I will gladly treat them as one of my own with all the attention and comfort they need.
