Pet care experience
I love all animals, have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, hamsters, frogs, snakes, lizards-you name it! Dogs are my passion. I have an 8 year old golden-Shasta- who gets along with everyone she meets! She will be your dogs new best friend. I love giving my animals tons of exercise-I walk Shasta for an hour a day around our neighborhood or on a local hike, and we would love additional company! My partner and I both work from home so your furry friend will rarely be left alone-and never for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. I can bring your dog along for that (or not depending on your preference). On the weekends I take Shasta hiking and swimming around the area. We love getting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery all around the Bay area. We would be honored to take your loved one with us!

Thank you Alexis, Mike and Shasta for fitting us into your schedule last weekend. Bentley and Libby seemed very happy when I returned home. My home was left neat with no evidence of three dogs playing for three days. I would highly recommend them to watch your dogs. I will be calling again for sure!
Alexis and her partner were nice and accommodating with our schedule. Their yard gave the pups loads to look at and explore. The dogs seemed to really like the place, and came home happy and tired. I would have the dogs stay here again if we need.
Alexis took a great care of our dog while we were out of town for few days. She sent us pictures every day and it was great to see him happy and enjoying his favorite trails

We live on a small piece of land in Sebastopol, within a fenced in garden. The dogs are welcome to roam around the garden as much as they please (and their owner feels comfortable with). I also have the ability to do my work outside on our porch and keep an eye on the dogs, if supervision is needed.

I want to know as much as possible ahead of time! Does your dog have any special medical needs? How do they do with other dogs, adults, children, and other animals? What behaviors do they exhibit in the home, on walks, and out in the community?
A typical day
I like to give the dogs in my care plenty of exercise and play time! I will exercise your dog for at least an hour a day (less if you prefer). Generally this entails walks or runs around the neighborhood or a trip to a nearby hiking trail or beach on the weekends.I am very flexible and can cater to the needs of your pet so please let me know the care your pet needs and I can make it happen!

Availability
Both my partner and I work primarily from home. I go into the office once every other week, and my partner can be here with the dogs during those days. I usually walk the dogs in the morning before work (around 7 or 8am), and sometimes additionally when I am off at 5pm. I play with the dogs in between virtual meetings and am able to let them out, give them a pet, or re-fill their water whenever needed.
