About Alison

3 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I have grown up with dogs all my life. I am a mother to a yellow lab, Autumn, she loves having puppy friends over to spend some time with. I just purchased my first home and the back yard is perfect for Autumn. She loves to play catch and my yard is long, which allows for ample fetch room. I live less than 5 min from a dog park, and enjoy walking Autumn around the neighboorhood.
I am a teacher, so I have the summer off and I plan on using some of that time to explore different walking paths around my home with Autumn. Autumn is my baby, so she needs to like the dog in order for them to stay at the house. She does really well with other labs, and any dog who isn't possessive and likes to share. Dogs are spoiled at my home with treats and they are welcome on the couch and bed if they want. I have many dog beds through out my home, so that is a choice too.

Alison is great to work with. I feel secure leaving my first babies with her when I'm gone.
My dog is always so happy (and tired) when she gets home from staying with Alison. She is so accommodating and easy to work with!
Alison was wonderful with our dog Luke. She treated him like her own pet while he stayed with her, which we greatly appreciate. Alison is very responsive, super easy to communicate with, a great dog owner, and an excellent dog sitter! Our dog came back happy and well rested, as if he had also been on vacation. I would highly recommend Alison as a dog sitter, and I will be booking her for future dog vacays.

Alison suggested a meet and greet without hesitation and without putting the pressure on me to ask which was nice. This allowed us to meet her and for her to meet the dogs making everyone and everydog feel more comfortable during the actual DogVacay sitting appointment. She is straightforward and is accountable. She will does what she says and says what she does, which was comforting knowing this on our human-only vacation. It was nice knowing everything was properly taken care of, communicated to us, and under control. It was smart of her to post a picture of the dogs outside, as them getting their daily exercise and bathroom break was most important to us and the reason we sought out her employment. Overall: satisfied!
