To give you an idea of me: I have been learning from and working with a wonderful dog trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement for the past 5 years and I bring that knowledge to many of my clients, for the past 5 years I have been doing animal care independently in Chicago and started during my last year in Portland, OR before moving to Chicago, I am comfortable working with animals of various needs and my home is lovely!
Although my home is a third floor walk-up it is spacious and cozy for animals to roam or relax on furniture. My cat, Mr. Jack, is either friendly or indifferent towards other animals and there is plenty of space for everyone to easily have their own room to play and lounge. The backyard is fully fenced and there is plenty of room to run and play if your dog-friend is so inclined. I encourage animals who are staying in my home to come with things that help them feel at ease such as: a dog bed, a blanket or shirt that smells like home, favourite treats & toys. My neighborhood is largely residential on one side so walks can stay low-key and full of fun sniffing spots. Also, administering medication is something I have experience with so no need to worry there, either!
