“Lorrie was great! She was extremely accommodating with a last minute drop in request and took the time to come meet Tali a few days before the visit. She sent a very detailed report of her time with Tali, went above and beyond with some training games, and Tali was happy & content when I got home again:)”

4. Kasey B.
“Kasey took great care of our cat while we were away! She came over to meet him beforehand and was prepared with a list of questions; she’s clearly an experienced pet-sitter and we felt very comfortable leaving our cat in her care. She spent plenty of time with him while we were gone and was even willing to take him outside on his leash and harness. We came home to a happy cat ? Kasey was also very accommodating to last-minute changes in our schedule, and sent us lots of fun photos of our cat!”

I will care for yours like they are my own because that’s exactly what I’d want!🤍 I am back home in my native state of Vermont while in between working contracts (I am a travel healthcare worker), so I have plenty of time on my hands to help you and your doggies out! Alysa has grown up around dogs and even while in college, her professors asked her to watch and/or walk their pets. You will not find a better person to take care of your pet(s). She will spend time with them- playing, walking, feeding and loving them.”

About: Having 21 years of personal pet care experience, both on and off of a farm, I have general knowledge of dog obedience training, socialization training and general grooming of both dogs and cats. I am always willing to learn new things, especially for the sake of the animals that I am responsible for, as well as encourage them to have fun, feel loved and know that they are always in the best care! I have high standards for myself in this regard, so you can always expect that your pet will be in the best hands. Not only that, but you can also count on my loving your furry friend as my very own. I work full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; I take hour long lunch breaks, traveling home to care for my pup and taking care of business in between. Weekends are open, within reason, and I am willing to modify my schedule for the right person and pet. I will follow clients’ specific guidelines on how to care for their pet(s), observing and reporting anything and everything that occurs during each visit. Routine and consistency is everything, and I will follow these to a “T”!

About: I have worked at two doggy daycares, and this experience has given me the ability to understand what your dog needs and how to keep your best friend safe, happy, and healthy. I have a wealth of experience in pet care. Throughout my life, I have been responsible for taking care of my two dogs at home, as well as living with eight cats for a period of six months. Currently, I am a proud owner of a cat. Additionally, I have been caring for non-domestic animals, such as chickens, for the past eight years. Moreover, I have the opportunity to work with large groups of dogs on a daily basis. It's truly a fulfilling experience to provide care and support to these wonderful creatures. Animals require more mental stimulation than people may think. Just like humans, they thrive on mental stimulation. That's why it's crucial for animals to have social interactions with both humans and other animals. Providing exercise and outdoor time is essential for their well-being. That's why I always make sure to take my dogs and cats on regular walks. Additionally, I prioritize their overall health by ensuring they have plenty of nourishing food. It's all about keeping our furry friends happy and healthy!

About: I have a family dog I have been caring for since we got her as a puppy 4+ years ago! I also have tons of experience looking after all aged pets of friends and family members. I am extremely attentive, love the outdoors, and am a huge animal person. I am a current college student so I am available part time outside of my classes. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays are my most free days but the majority of my afternoons are available and I am very flexible. I will base my care around each owner and pet individually and the needs they express. I will provide lots of snuggles, walks, play time, and anything else needed to make the pet’s time apart from their owner as nurturing and enjoyable as possible! I also am very communicative and will happily send updates throughout our time as much as the client wishes.
14. Matthew P.
“Matt was the best with my dogs! He barely had the chance to meet them before he had to take care of them due to my busy schedule. He excelled at meeting and greeting the new to him pupper crew! They took to him instantly as well : ) He is very knowledgeable about caring for different dog personalities and able to adapt to the dog's needs. He is very caring and a true dog lover! I felt completely comfortable leaving my pet family in his capable hands. He is responsible and respectful, and easily navigated coming into and out of my house to care for the puppers, which I felt very comfortable with. The dogs loved their walks with him and I loved knowing they got a great walk in while I was gone. Bonus: I loved seeing photos he took while walking them after. Would highly recommend Matt for all your dog walking and care needs.”
15. Kendra T.
“Kendra watched my pup numerous times when we were neighbors. I always knew Rosie was getting the best care and being taken care of like her own. Her own dogs are very happy and healthy and a testament to her love for animals. Kendra would be my top pick to watch Rosie in the future!”

About: I have been a dog owner for the past twenty years and can honestly say I could not live without them! They have so many endearing qualities: fun loving, patient, non-judgemental, the list goes on and on. My promise to you is to treat your dog with the utmost respect and care that he or she deserves. After all, they are family. I am available weekday mornings and most weekends. I can offer play time, companionship, walks around town and general TLC. I can promise you your dog will not find a better friend, other than you of course! I can also help with dogs that have special needs. When my dog was a puppy he suffered a broken leg and he had a pin in his hip for quite some time. I nursed him back to health with the vets guidance. The bottom line is I will take care of your pooch!

About: I’ve been around lots of dogs my whole life and have experience potty training and behavior training them as well. Dogs have always been a passion of mine and I would love to take care of yours as well. I work full time from 7:30 to 5 Monday through Friday but on my free time I would love to check on or hangout with your pups and I am always free to pet sit at your house or mine depending on your preference! I just like to make sure that everyone is happy and comfortable, whether that be having lots of toys or having their own space to chill out alone.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!
