I became a ROVER.COM host about 3.5 years ago in the Forest Lake area. When I moved to Minneapolis about 2 years ago, I maintained by account. I have so enjoyed taking care of many new puppy clients around the city, and many return puppies in the northern suburbs. Though I adore all animals, dogs are my favorite. I grew up with doggies surrounding me...both small and big. As a child/teenager, you could often find me hanging out with the doggies or kitties who were closed up during family gatherings because I felt bad for them. Really it was an excuse to introvert with perfect beings who never zapped my energy! Somehow I have always been able to befriend all dogs and cats I encounter. I am a very active person and love to take my rover pups on lots of walks, runs, and frolics in the park. After, I love to cuddle up on the couch. I do my best to maintain the schedules that my doggie clients have and always err on the side of safety. Unless there is a fully enclosed fenced yard, any doggies with me will be fully leashed before I open any doors. As far as house sitting, I owned a home in Forest Lake for nearly 10 years before moving to Minneapolis. I know and understand the quirks of owning older homes, and understand how intimidating it can be to invite a stranger from the internet into your home. I come alone (no people or pets come with me), and your house will be left clean. (I can't even imagine leaving a mess that I created for you to clean up!) Please know that I insist on a meet and greet before any bookings, so that all can be comfortable with my doggie and home care! I look forward to meeting you and your sweet pup(s)! Abbe
