I've loved and been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember: my family owned pets throughout my life, including dogs, cats, and horses. I also currently have a 6-yr old retired and rescued racing Greyhound of my own. After completing my Master's degree in 2011, I moved to Chicago and immediately took a position as tour manager for a band. Pet-sitting was the perfect in-between-tours income, and it's something I did very often - caring for both cats and dogs (including a very large and very anxious Great Dane for an entire week). After obtaining a full time job in Chicago, I often dog sat a couple of times a week, primarily in other people's homes for ease on the pups. We moved to Knoxville fall of '16 to begin a doctoral program at UT. Here, we adopted a retired racing Greyhound, as mentioned above, and I'm looking forward to getting back into dog walking other pet sitting services during the summer!
