Welcome to Alyssa and Trent's dog boarding and services! I have had dogs for over 10 years and he has had dogs his entire life. I have a bachelor's in animal science and have worked and volunteered at kennels and animal rescues while in college and throughout my adult life. I have a lot of experience giving dogs medicine, baths, and dealing with minor first aid issues. I have a lot of experience and knowledge in animal care, especially dogs and cats. We are both huge dog lovers and treat all dogs like family.
Dogs are allowed on all furniture (even in bed with us, if they like!). We have a great screened porch that overlooks the pond. This is great for dogs that like to watch squirrels! We have two, small Havanese and two cats that live here. Napoleon and Whinny are the dogs that run the house. Fatty McCatty and Maui are cats that think they are dogs. They love to play with other dogs, but can be kept separate if your dogs do not like cats.
I have a flexible work schedule full-time and Trent works part-time, so the dogs will not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. We have a great dog park as a part of the apartment complex that the dogs can be let off leash to use the bathroom. Dogs will be walked 3-4 times a day, and more if needed. Any feeding situation can be arranged, as well as medication. I am comfortable giving any type of medication necessary. We have plenty of toys and treats. Your dogs will be as spoiled as ours if you choose to stay with us.
Update: We just moved to a beautiful new apartment that has a great, large dog park and walking trail. We're looking forward to using these with the dogs we sit!
