About Sabina

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I absolutely love dogs!

I have clients with small dogs that frequently stay with me so only small dogs under 25 pounds please. I am home during the day so my guest receive constant attention.

I home cook for the kibble topper on my dog's food so if your pup has a special diet, no problem! I feel that creating a comfortable environment for dogs is key to keeping them relaxed mentally. I have clients that have been with me for years, so the pups always get along peacefully.

A typical at the Zen Doggie Retreat-
In the AM the furbabies relax or roam about after their potty break and breakfast. My guest can roam around freely and enjoy a walk on my deck in the AM. I leave the deck door open for a short time during the morning.

Treat time happens a few times during the day. I always have organic sweet potato chewies on hand. My guest with special diet restrictions will have treats available for their pups too. I have a new sofa that is a little too big for the living room, but the dogs come first, right? lol
I keep doggie steps near the sofa for any pups needing a little aid getting up or down.

The pups can relax anywhere they want during the day. I have a few doggie beds on the floor with freshly washed throws on top of them.
I have a secure fenced backyard and will sit outside with the dogs during their potty breaks. If it’s a nice morning and the babies want to roam around the yard, I take my coffee and sit in a comfortable chair and enjoy watching the furbabies walk around. I find this helps with the dogs that are a little more timid about being in a new yard.

If I am working on my laptop or watching a movie, the furbabies always never far away. They are either perched on top of the sofa or snuggled close next to me.
If I leave the house, my furry guest is not confined unless they are new and still adapting to the environment. I may keep them separated in the dining room with a baby gate, but that is only until I know the new sweetie is ok with other dogs when I leave the house. Otherwise, the pups are never separated or confined.
Nighttime consist of more relaxing while we watch a movie together. :) The pups sleep where they wish.

I have 10 years grooming experience so I offer discounted grooming services while the pups are on their vacation with me.

Doggie wash, blow out and nail trim- $20

Doggie wash, blow out, sanitary trim and nail trim- $30

Doggie Spa Groom- wash, blow out, clipper cut, blueberry facial and nail trim- $50

Mineral Mud Treatment- $70. Well worth the cost. Leaves the hair feeling like SILK. Very good for skin and allergy issues.

Note-During the hot summer, we only take short walks out.
Keep me in mind if you have a senior pup needing extra love.

Sabina was very accomodating. She scheduled an initial meet with Desi. She was helpful and answered all my questions. She keep me informed about Desi during his stay. I would certainly use her services again.
We visited Sabina and her regular dog customers a few weeks before booking her. It was nice to see where our dog would stay ahead of time. She also sent us photos during the stay, which was great to receive.
Sabina is wonderful with dogs and my Shih-Tzu loved staying with her & playing with the other small dog guests. Sabina also is a great groomer!
