About Scott

My partner Laura & I live in a 1,200 square-foot split-level home in the community of North Haven, just steps away from Nose Hill park in North West Calgary! We both are passionate dog lovers/owners, and we work Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. There is some flexibility in our schedules and our offices are very close to home, so we can come home throughout the day to let dogs out if necessary (with advance notice if this is required; for scheduling purposes).

On Saturdays and Sundays we are able to provide 24 hour per day attention/care. Our backyard is large, treed and securely fenced-in, with a fun slope for the K-9's to run up and down/play/roll around on.

Egerts & Nose Hill are the 2 primary dog parks within short walking distance from our front door (both have off-leash areas), and two 24-hour veterinary clinics are within a 3-kilometer radius (McKnight & Calgary North) from our home.

Our dogs are walked at least twice a day, for a minimum of 30-minutes per walking session. If the weather is nice (which is subject to rapid change in Calgary), bike rides through Nose Hill park are an option for younger/more 'high-energy' dogs that may need a bit more exercise.

Our dogs get along well with others of all shapes and sizes, regardless of breed or demeanor. Deano is a very sociable 5-year old Lab cross, and knows when to keep his distance (if other dogs are not as much of a "social butterfly"). Finley is a polite, well-mannered 9 year old soft-coated Wheaten Terrier that loves to hang-out/lounge and get scratched behind the ears.

We will not kennel your dog unless it is your regular practice/desire for us to do so.

We look forward to the opportunity to meet and care for your dog(s)!

Our goldendoodle stayed with Scott and Laura (and Deano and Finley) for 4 nights. I think she had a really good time. She seemed to enjoy it, obviously liked them and I think she enjoyed hanging out with the pack and having a normalish life when we were away. She's a people and dog dog and would hate being caged up in a 'pet resort'. Had photos sent on a couple of occasions which was good as we really did miss her!

Thanks Guys!
