About Ainna

1 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I am a small business owner who grew up with the German Shepherds my father raised. Currently cuddling & playing with my neighbor's exuberant, adorable golden retriever has made the desire for a dog in my life impossible to ignore.

I have a cat who requires one medication in the morning at least 9 hours after his last meal & 1 hour 20 minutes before his next meal. I mix 11 vitamins & supplements into each meal. Half an hour after he eats he gets 3 more vitamin-medications in the form of treats. Half an hour after that I brush his teeth. I change his water at least once a day to make sure it is clean.

Subcutaneous fluids are every 3 days. In order to calm him down for that, he gets a “natural” calmative mixed with a little food 2 hours after his vitamin-medications, for 3 meals before the subQs. At least once a week he gets bones, to clean his teeth.

Your darling will receive the same level of care! I will do whatever is necessary to make sure he is happy & comfortable, and not homesick.

At the same time, she will be fed only what you instruct me to feed. I have no wish to be fascist about my views re: nutrition, imposing them on all & sundry. Any emergencies (God forbid) will be handled according to your explicit instructions.

Highbridge Park is my backyard. There is also a spacious living room in my cozy apartment for your baby to play in.

My darling Button is 14 years old and has lived with me since he was 2. He has recently been diagnosed with kidney disease & inflammatory bowel disease. In order to properly care for him, I have had to cut my work hours, and need to work more from home. Besides the fact that I currently do not have a dog of my own and miss it enormously, working with DogVacay makes it possible for me to stay home with Button as much as possible.

We found Ainna through the friend of a friend, and she stayed at our home for a week to look after our Rhodesian mix, Tippetarius. Ever since then, we have occasionally called her to sit for us when we leave town. Tip is kind of a one-man dog. He doesn't like many people. Which makes his special bond with Ainna all the more unusual. They seem to share a secret understanding. The only downside to this is the strange baby talk language she uses with him, which he loves but that can get annoying.

Ainna is a child at heart herself. Her boundless energy and playfulness have turned our old Tip into a puppy again. Highly recommended!

My husband and I love to travel, but always felt guilty leaving our four legged kids...unless Ainna agrees to come to Virginia and house and pet sits for us. Our animals are the closest thing we'll ever have to having kids, so it's important to have someone we trust stay with them. We have two large dogs who are very sweet, but rather spoiled. Bear enjoys his walks and Berkeley loves her cuddles and food! Since both are older dogs, it is important for them to have their routine, and Ainna has never failed us. She is firm with them when needed but with all the kisses the dogs seem to give her, it's clear that they love her.

When we were away, Ainna would send us email updates on things that she and the dogs did....walks they went on, Netflix movies they watched together or sometimes, even selfies of the couch!

Ainna has also spoiled us...when we get home, we now know that we'll be returning to a spotless house, cleaner than when we left it! Our plants look healthier and our dogs well rested and very sorry to see her go!

We would highly recommend Ainna to housesit and pet sit! She's truly amazing!
