Dogs have always brought so much happiness into my life, and I consider it my absolute duty to make sure that every pooch has the love and care they need to thrive! I’ve been taking care of dogs in many different capacities almost my whole life, and I am very excited to do everything I can to help pets of all stripes now. I simply love working with dogs, but also really enjoy meeting great owners and providing peace of mind to them. As an owner myself, I definitely know how difficult it can be to find trusted help! But I’m here to make that as easy as possible. In terms of animal experience, I’ve been everything from an owner to a rescuer to a volunteer, and beyond! I’ve owned my own Boston Terrier for 13 years, and she’s been the light of my life! But in addition to her, I’ve helped rescue countless cats and dogs. I just try to do whatever I can to make sure that an animal in need can be helped. I’ve loved watching them transition to their forever families! Lastly, I’ve been a volunteer at the OC Humane Society. They taught me so much about great care and helping out animals that need a little extra patience. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. One of the best things about me as a sitter is that I’m a full-time dog lover! When your pup is under my care, they’ll be constantly with me and enjoying my company. That means that I’m a great match for dogs that are used to having a human companion around them--or for dogs that could benefit from that! No one likes to keep their best friend in a kennel or crate while they’re away, so I make sure that they have everything they need to stay free and happy.
