Home setting for a small dog
Pet care experience
I welcome your small dog in a home setting in my condo in southern Novato. I have two small poodles here and I have fostered several small rescued dogs. In my home, there are several dog beds and toys around. I also have a back patio. I prefer not to crate dogs. I give my dogs nice little walks a few times per day and individual attention. About this sitter: I can pet-sit at the guardian's home for an overnight, or come visit the pet for walks, playtime and feeding. Why I love dog sitting I have had small dogs since age 6. Since 1992 I have had two small dogs most of the time. I have also fostered several small rescued dogs and volunteer-walked large dogs in rescue organizations. About my yard I have a fenced back patio, but I mainly take dogs out for walks.

After having a bad experience at a highly rated kennel (our dog got bitten and they were unaware of it), we decided to search rover.com for a dog sitter and found Elina. Our dog Rosie had a wonderful time staying at Elina's home while we were away on vacation. Elina was reliable and very kind and attentive to Rosie's needs. She sent us frequent updates and photos so we could see how Rosie was doing. Elina even bought Rosie a cute fleece jacket to wear on cold days because she was worried about her getting chilled! Elina's 2 miniature poodles "Boogie" and "Brandy" are very mellow and as sweet as can be, and they got along very well with our dog Rosie. Elina took Rosie out and about in car rides and walks/hikes every day. Rosie seemed happy and well cared for when we picked her up. I highly recommend Elina as a dog sitter if you have a small dog or puppy who needs a home away from home while you are away. I found it to be a much better experience than a kennel for our dog.
