About Cory

Dog Sitting and in-home Cat Care

My husband and I have been volunteering with pet rescues for 20+ years. We currently share our home with our rescues, a toy poodle and an Aussie. Dog sitting allows me to work from home, mainly as a volunteer fundraising online and writing grants for my rescue. My 4-legged friends provide the fun distractions. We do have 2 cats in residence so our guests cannot be cat-aggresssive.

We live on a cul de sac in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of friendly dogs. We enjoy long walks and jogs in addition to playing fun games like “soccer dog” indoors. As you can see by our pictures, we never let dogs on the bed or the furniture :o) (that's a joke, of course)

I make my own holistic treats so my boys and I concoct a lot of healthy goodies for friends and clients. I can tell you I have a very enthusiastic taste-testing team. We also like to take photos of our visitors and make a fun calendar every year.

Be sure to include our free meet and greet in your trip planning so we can all get to know one another. I am tech friendly and will send pictures or video of your pup daily. You can check on them as often as you like. We're here 24/7 so you can be sure your best friend is safe and all play is supervised.

We're happy to care for seniors or special needs dogs and promise whether they come to us or we come to you, we'll make sure they are comfortable, safe and loved.

Have a kitty? We all know they would prefer to stay in their home so we're happy to set up a visiting schedule and even pick up your mail. Just let us know your specific needs and we'll come up with a custom plan.

What people say most often after visiting our house… “When I die I want to come back as one of your dogs” – I love it!

This review is long overdue. It was many months ago, sorry for the delay. Cory was wonderful with our beagles. They are very needy and she catered to them and made them feel comfortable. We appreciate her taking care of the babies while we were to them and made them feel comfortable. We appreciate her taking care of the babies while we were away. Thanks so much!

Cory and her husband Mike had our pit bull puppy, Louie, for four days over the Easter weekend, while we went on vacation to Las Vegas. Although we brought Louie's cage to their home, Cory mentioned that she doesn't really like to keep the dogs in brought Louie's cage to their home, Cory mentioned that she doesn't really like to keep the dogs in a cage. That was nice to hear.
Cory has 2 of her own dogs that greeted us at the door. They were so calm , well mannered and well behaved. (Unlike my hyper, mischievous puppy). Lol. Cory spoke a little about how she works with rescue animals , as Louie trotted around making himself at home. He seemed to get along well with her dogs.
My husband and I felt confident as we drove away that Louie was in a loving, safe environment. Cory sent pictures and feedback daily of how Louie was doing.
When we came to pick him up, he seemed hesitant to leave!!! Lol. He seemed like he gained weight, and seemed calmer than when I had him. That was nice to see. ( that didn't last long. Now back being hyper again with my other two older dogs we had kenneled.)
Corey and Mike said that the puppy did really well at their house. They seemed to like Louie a lot. I would highly recommend them to babysit any dog! I don't think I will ever kennel my dogs again. After this experience, I feel the puppy was in a much more wonderful environment than my other dogs were. Cory sent the puppy home with a new bone and homemade treats. You will not be sorry if you have this animal-loving couple watch your dog !! Linda and Frank Bravico.

Cory made my dog and I feel right at home. She is warm, welcoming and inviting. My dog had a great time playing with her dogs. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to take my dog there. Amy
