I was extremely anxious that my 14 year +, 100 lb+, male dog, Ajax, be well taken care of. He has hip dysplasia (part German Shepherd) and Arthritis and has difficulty getting up and around a lot of the time.

Barbara took the extra time to let me get to know her resident dogs and thoroughly check out the environment. She explaiedn how she would get him up and out for potty breaks and some exercis and assured me he would be fine.
Ajax was with her for two days and I got updates each day.
nwas e saito be s more active than I led her to believe.I believe his fascination with her female Akita, Tessa, may have been the reason for that.
Whatever the reasons, Ajax was very well taken care of and happy to stay at Barbara's. So much so that he is returning this weekend! e

Kind, thoughtful, considerate, and loving. Barbara took care of our Cocker Spaniels like they were her own.
Barbara was not in a good position to dog-sit for this particular weekend. I would have preferred that she decline. I used her in the past, however, and she was wonderful.
The reason we keep taking Lucy back is that Barbara really cares about her as if she were her own pet. Easy to work with and great availabilty.
Barbara is so gifted and kind. I really enjoyed meeting her. Our little yorkie has not been socialized much with people in our home, so he was a bit protective of us in the beginning, but Barbara won him over quickly. We had a meet and greet initially that was very helpful, and we knew then that our little one was going to be in excellent hands. Barbara sent videos and pics to us while we were away which was also very helpful in our knowing that he was being very well taken care of. I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough! She is very knowledgeable and gifted and I cannot imagine leaving our "little man" with anyone else. Thank you again Barbara!

Barbara took great care of Cashew. I was a little tentative during the meet and greet about the other dogs that live there, but Barbara did a fantastic job making sure they all got along. And, in the end it was a great learning experience for Cashew - she's 6 months old and there was one large, playful young dog with a play style different from hers and two older, grumpier dogs that didn't like her antics.

I'm so happy that Cashew was able to stay in a home environment with a large backyard to play in, as well as other dogs to play and interact with. This is so much better, and much more affordable, than boarding or leaving her alone at home.

I contacted Barbara for my son after there was a snag in his business travel plans and he needed someone at the last minute. She was very accommodating and Nala seemed to have enjoyed her time there. Sorry Barbara for the late review! You watched Nala back in April I think!

Barbara sent me pictures of my kiddos so that I wouldn't worry and could be confident they were having a good time. I appreciated the updates and was happy to see them wagging their tails when I went to pick them up.
Barbara was absolutely wonderful! My pup, Marley, had such a fun time at her home. Barbara has several acres of fenced in property for the dogs to run and play all day if they'd like. My pup loved having space to run free and play with the other dogs. Barbara also made Marley comfortable inside by providing toys and several different soft places for him to relax. Barbara sent me updates throughout my trip on how Marley was doing and sent me the cutest pictures and videos of him! I can tell she thoroughly enjoys working with animals and is knowledgeable in animal care. I will most definitely book with Barbara again!

Barbara was very friendly and had a wonderful outdoor space. Gingersnap can be a bit timid around larger dogs but I know Barbara kept her comfortable and created a little "den" for her to escape to. We will be using her the next time we find ourselves in TX!

Tux seemed to fit in well. We were very pleased.
We were very pleased. Our two dogs were well cared for. We were kept informed about their care while we were gone. We will certainly use the service again.
Barbara was great with Toby. I look forward to reserving with her again!
My dogs love visiting Barbara!! I always feel so good about leaving them there.
We found DogVacay.com to be a wonderful option, compared to a traditional boarding kennel. Barbara G. was kind and friendly and took a personal interest in our little dog, Charlie. In the future, we will certainly look to DogVacay.com first!
Our dogs were very well taken care of. She obviously loves dogs and ours were no exception. She was awesome!! Thank you Barbara!!!
Barbara is really great at accommodating the dogs! The dogs run the show at her house and she is glad to provide the dogs with anything they need. Her house truly is a house for dogs :) She sent several updates via text while I was away and it was great to know that her dogs and my dogs were doing ok. The dogs have plenty of space to roam outside and the doggie door is definitely a bonus! Barbara has plenty of room on the inside for the dogs to to sleep and cuddle. My dogs must of had a good time (or they were depressed to come home from their vacay!), because when they got home they slept the remainder of the day and through the night. Thanks Barbara! Ranger and Annie will be seeing you again! :)

I was very pleased with the Luke's stay and I know he was as well; he slept all day when he got home! I suprisingly never called to check on him which is a testament to how comfortable I felt leaving him in Barbara's care. I will certainly be using her for future vacations!

Barbara did a great job with Boomer. We will use her again in the future!
We were so happy with Barbara's place for our pup. Barbara was very friendly and knowledgable about caring for dogs. Her dogs were perfect playmates for Flynn. Flynn had plenty of room to run and play on her acre as well as a warm comfy space inside to sleep. We absolutely would recommend and use Barbara's place again!
