About Pat

50 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
"Certified in CPR and Pet First Aid"

"SENIORS" AND "SPECIAL NEEDS" ARE WELCOME."

In addition to overnight boarding I now offer day care! I’d be happy to keep your pup entertained while you’re away for the day.

Your pet(s) will be in a loving and comfortable home away from home with an experienced and caring pet owner. I have a fully fenced yard and they will have other pets to play with. When your pet is outside it is with full supervision.

I live in downtown Long Beach with my small dogs, Abba, a 7 yr. old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel; and Sophie, 5 yr old. mixed Shih-Tzu, and Dreamer a 10 yr old Maltese. When I retired from doing facials I started my pet sitting business, you might call it my encore career. I felt there was a strong need to provide loving care in a loving environment. I care for all ages and breeds but "Seniors and Special Needs" have their own place in my heart. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and I go for my recertification every two years.

My time with your pet(s) is totally devoted to their care and well being they are treated as one of the family with all of the privileges and individual attention. I accept both short term and long term boarding and offer Multi-night discounts.

"Home Cooked Meals", and Super Premium Dog Food are proudly offered or you may wish to bring your own. Diets are tailored to your pets individual preferences and needs. Supervised feeding is 2x's daily unless otherwise specified.

In-home visits include cleaning of the pets area, a good brushing, dental hygiene, and play time and a walk.

Medication given at no extra charge.

I can also give Sub-cutaneous injections, i.e. allergy shots.

Pick-up and Drop Off Available for boarding pets this service is not available for day care.

Drop Off time as early as 6:00 A.M

Pick-up usually by 4:30 p.m. Late pick up by pre-arrangement.

Your pet will only be released to you unless written permission is given. The person or persons picking up your pet will be required to show ID

Vaccinations or a titer test must be current for overnight stays or day care in my home .

Another great stay! Pat is always so considerate in accommodating our drop off and pick up times. Sandy knows as soon as i pull up where she is and cant wait to get out of the car!
Sandy is our 10 yr old Lab - has some health issues - diabetic - and i really appreciate the amount of knowledge and care she gives our girl. Pat fully understands her need for consistant eating times, insulin shots, her need for special help going down stairs outside. She watches her carefully and called to alert me that she was showing sign of possible UTI - she was correct and treated immediately.
Sandy loves the attention and enjoys the little dogs that like to run around , up, over and around her! Sandy is now more of an observer than a participant - but fully enjoys the fun.
Thank you Pat for making us feel so comfortable when we are away -we can relax when she is with you....i really appreciate the love and kindness you give your guests.

Pat has been the most amazing host. She is so responsive, cares about the dogs as her own, and even gave us adorable Christmas pictures of our pups. I would never choose anyone else. Love her!
Pat is probably a very good person! But my experience there were to many dogs there were about 10 dogs at drop off. The house was not as clean as I like. I really didn't care for her unwanted opinions. I pack KaShays bed , Toys and food dishes for a reson. To have a host tell me she has her own dishes she could use. And her own toys . Or says she won't use her bed in case the other dogs pee on it is not what I'm looking for. I also didn't care for her extra opinion on how I feed my dog. There's a reason why I feed my dog the way I do. My all in all experience is not so great. I had no idea if the dog she was around dogs who had fleas or any other illness that could affect my dog , because there were so many there.I am looking for a dog sitter that will comply to what I have brought and want to give KaShay During her stay. I didn't care for all the dogs because I thought my dog was not getting the proper individual care that I would provide her. Thru my experience I wouldn't recommend her.
