Hi - We are Emily, Emma, and Caterina, three girls in our mid 20's, we all work full-time in Manhattan. We each have flexible schedules, one of us works in a dog friendly building, depending on dates and schedule, there is a possibility the dog could go to work for the day.
We have a large private deck (12x24 feet) that the dog can go on, and live 2 blocks from a park. We can provide the dog with 1-2 walks in the morning, as well as in the evening and at night, during the work week. On weekends we can accommodate just about any schedule between the three of us.
We each have grown up with dogs, and miss having a dog around.
Emily is from Ohio and is one of four kids and one point had three dogs, she can handle chaos well. She or members of her immediate family have had dogs of the following breeds; labs, beagles, pugs, pit bulls, and any mixture in between. She works in a dog friendly office, depending on the day, she can take the dog to work with her where the dog will get lots of affection all day. Emily has pet sat since she was a kid, and as an adult has worked part time as a pet sitter.
Caterina is a Spanish speaking Canadian, she will be overly polite and teach your pet Spanish. The love of her life was her childhood Sheltie, whom she nurtured from a young age. Her beloved Sheltie was a sensitive companion who experienced separation anxiety, which means she knows how to effectively and patiently deal with this quality in pets. She comes from a home where the pet is treated as an equal family member. She loves dogs, but is the secret cat lover of the apartment.
Emma moved to New York from Texas last winter and, while she loves the city, she desperately misses her family dog back home. She likes to go jogging in the mornings before work and looks forward to taking a dog with her. Like Emily, Emma has been a pet sitter before, and has a soft spot for corgis, dachshunds, and other hotdog shaped animals.
