About Sue

3 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
We watch only 1 dog at a time or 1 owner's dogs at a time, and we do not have any pets ourselves; so your dog(s) will have a stress-free environment and our undivided attention! I am a mom with 2 children, ages 14 and 11. I am married, and we live in a house in the Montrose/S. Shepherd area with a fully fenced backyard. We all love dogs and pets and would love to watch your dog or pet and board them. Here are some fun things we would do with your dog as we do this with our neighbor's dog:
- Go to the Ervan Chew's Dog Park as this park is close to our house
- Walk to PetSmart on S. Shepherd as it is close to our house and get him/her a treat on us :)
- Take him/her to the dog park at Buffalo Bayou Park (Johnny Steele Dog Park) where he/she can take a dip in the dog pool if he/she likes :)
- Bathe him/her at our house
- Cook bacon and give him/her bacon treats as rewards (only with parent's permssion)
- Provide a loving, cozy home environment

Sue is very nice and sincere, and her family is excited to have your puppy over during your vacation! Her whole family has experience dog-sitting, as they watch their neighbor's schnauzer from time to time. Additionally, the family has a full-time routine for week days scheduled to ensure that your dog will have plenty of care, attention, and time to rest.

Sue lives in a house with a front yard and a fully fenced backyard in heart of the Montrose neighborhood. Puppies will love seeing all the neat lawns and trees around on walks. Sue works only 10 minutes away from her house, and she gets to come home during lunch times to give your puppy the potty break he/she needs.

Sue allow dogs to roam free around the house and enjoy some cuddling with her kids. Kennels are welcome if parents prefer their pets inside while Sue and her family are out. Message her to setup a meet and greet and see how your puppies like their vacation with her family while you're away!
Sue was excellent with my little dog Piper! She genuinely seemed like she didn't want to leave when we picked her up, and I received pics of her playing and going to the water park throughout her stay :)
It was our first time leaving our dog while going out of town. After dropping her off with Sue's family, we were immediately at ease. We definitely hope to use Sue again for future pet care needs. Her family took wonderful care of our dog and we appreciate their daily updates and photos. Thank you, Sue!
Sue did a great job of looking after my puppy! She sent constant pictures and updates so I knew she was doing well. Thanks Sue!
Max had a great time at Sue's - she took him to the Bayou and played outside with him all the time! We also loved the updates she sent us, and she was flexible with pick up time, and accommodating when our flight delay made us a little late. Thanks Sue!
My husband and I left our 3.5 year old Shepherd mix with Sue and her family for a weekend and are very happy with our experience. In setting the reservation, Sue was quick to respond to my messages/questions. When we dropped Molly off Sue and her daughter greeted all of us so kindly. Sue inquired about some of Molly's preferences on things like walks, dog parks, food, etc (including whether or not it was acceptable to give her any food from their meals). Sue was very good with Molly as we were leaving, distracting her with a treat so we could sneak out without Molly getting anxious. Over the weekend she sent multiple photos and a video of Molly with updates. They took Molly on several walks each day because they noticed how much she absolutely loves walks. It was great that both of Sue's children and her husband also helped and played with Molly. It was huge for us that they only take one dog at a time because Molly is very dog aggressive. She was happy and relaxed when he picked her up and in the photos they sent. We are really pleased with our experience, the price, and plan on booking with Sue in the future.
Bella had great care! Their family is very loving.
Had a great experience with Sue watching my dog Ellie. She and her family took great care of Ellie and sent regular updates so I could see how well she was doing. They took her frequently for walks and gave her a lot of attention.
We will certainly be back to see Sue and her family! Kobie was well loved and exercised. She enjoyed walks, a fun and spacious backyard, and an abundance of belly rubs! When we picked up Kobie, we could tell she had great fun. Sue kept us informed with photos and texts, which we appreciated greatly. Also, Sue was attentive to our requests and directions for caring for Kobie. We strongly recommend Sue as a host for your pet.
Sue N was a great host to my pups! Her and her family took great care of them - we will definitely be seeking Sue N going forward. Thank you for everything!
Sue and her wonderful family did a great job watching my dog, and I loved the daily updates. She really enjoyed her stay!
