1. Deirdre E.
“Deidre was super attentive and caring! Bear had lots of exercise and attention and enjoyed playing with Hoppy and Raven, who accepted her as one of the pack and both looked sad when she left. Bear cut her paw playing, which is not uncommon for her as she spins with a stick when she plays outside. Deidre spotted it immediately, contacted us, and offered to take her to the vet but she was also open to our usual treatment, of rest, keeping the paw clean, and flushing with saline solution. Deidre even had experience with this and did a great job. Her paw is looking good and we couldn’t be happier with the care our pooch received!”
2. Casey C.
“Mabel had a fantastic weekend with Casey and her partner. They took her hiking and played lots of fetch! I would bring Mabel back in heart beat!”

5. Linda S.
“You can tell right away when you meet Linda that she loves dogs. Her set up is amazing with separate roomy cages for each dog that has enough space for a crate and eating area. Seconds after getting home and saying hello to everyone Ipa went straight to her fav sleeping spot and has not moved. So glad we connected with this fantastic service.”
6. Karin C.
“Karin, her husband and her son provided an excellent family experience for our 7 month old puppy. She responded to our booking request immediately, and provided updates and photos while we were away. I will certainly be using her again, and would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone. Thanks Karin!”
7. Amy L.
“We were first time Rover users and were a little nervous at the prospect of leaving our pup with someone who wasn’t family but Amy made us feel reassured and confident that she would be well taken care of. Amy invited us over for a quick hello prior to boarding our pooch. Right away it was evident that Amy is warm, good natured and caring. Additionally, her place is like a dog’s paradise - right on the lake with primo swimming and hiking! Amy sent us daily updates with pictures of them hiking, swimming and lounging around together. Communication with Amy was also a breeze! 5/5 big thanks Amy!!!”
8. Garance D.
“Our experience with leaving our dogs at Garrance was wonderful. At first we were a bit nervous, as any dog parents might be, but now we feel like they have an Auntie on Salt Spring. She was so sweet to them (And to us) and her dog, Gina, was a total gem! Thank you Garrance!”

About: I work 5 days a week as a veterinary assistant for the last 2.5 years and have been pet sitting on the side for the last several years! I have tons of experience looking after senior pets and pets that require special attention! Very comfortable administering oral and injectable medications; including subcutaneous fluids! Whoever is in my care becomes a piece of my everyday life for however long they may be with me. I treat your pets as I would my own💛 regular potty/play breaks and walks! I have a very friendly pup who loves to make friends so they can play if that’s something you’d be comfortable with. I am also more than happy to stay in clients home; I do work 8 hour days in clinic so that’s the only issue that may occur for compatibility. I personally crate trained my dog and she does very well with it when left alone. I have an unfenced yard; so the dogs are never left unattended or otherwise put on the dog run. When I stay in a clients home I just follow whatever normal routines they have in place for they’re animals! I find most animals are most comfortable staying in their own environment and sticking to a similar routine; pet comfort and safety is my #1 priority!
19. Bill & Gerie T.
“Bill and Gerie are so lovely. They watched my boy Madden over the weekend and spoiled him with walks and time lounging in the garden. I appreciated the photos and updates. When I picked him up he was happy and well taken care of. I will certainly book with them again. Happy to have found a good match for dog sitting!”
20. Sarah S.
