1. Woody R.
“Woody provided a loving day care home for my boy and clearly has a way with animals. I would trust him with any 4-leggeds and recommend him to anyone. Thank you!”
2. Allen F.
“Awesome as always! Mikka gets excited every Tuesday to get her snuggles and playtime for the day. I live in the neighborhood and can’t walk within 2 blocks without her pulling towards their house. It’s definitely her happy place, so much so that we come to the private field/doggy oasis to play on other days too! She’s looking forward to her three night stay later this week too. Thank you, Allen!”
3. Stephanie S.
“Every time Loup goes over to Steffie's for the day, he comes back so well-mannered and tuckered out. He's a rescue dog, and has separation anxiety pretty bad, but Steffie leads that little pack so well-- dogs can just be dogs around her-- it's awesome-- and he's less anxious when he returns! Hooray! When I drop him off, I can see him falling into line with the pack, which is great because he's usually kind of aloof with dogs-- maybe he is intimidated by other dogs, in general? I don't know, but he keeps his cards pretty close to the vest. Not at Steffie's though: he actually engages with the other dogs. To me, these positives are priceless. (But the prices are pretty good, too! ;D) Steffie also did a great job cutting Loup's hair, and giving him the full groom. She's wonderful. I'm glad she's available on Rover. I highly recommend her services.”
4. Christopher D.
“Christopher was great! He was very flexible and patient with me when I had an unexpected event come up right before he was supposed to take care of my doggie girl. When he did end up watching her, I know she got lots of love. She has major anxiety issues and he was patient with her and did his best to comfort her. Thanks Christopher!”
5. Sadie S.
“We are so glad to have found Sadie in NW Portland. As a special needs dog mom, having reliable care is invaluable. Sadie welcomed Bennett without any reservations of his gait issues. He fit right in with the rest of the fellow paw fwends! Within hours he was asleep on Sadie’s leg.”
6. Nina U.
“Nina was amazing with our pup. He loves staring out the window, she noticed this and made him his own personal perch to lay on so he could do that. She put a lot of thought into his care. We are "crazy" dog parents and finding someone that you feel comfortable leaving our best buddy with can be difficult. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for everything. :)”
7. Megan W.
“Smooth communication, pleasant interactions, and one happy dog earned this five star review. Upon pickup, I was surprised when Megan told me that Eli finished his meals during the day care stay--an indication he was comfy and cozy. Hooray!”
8. Leah L.
“Leah was great. I had to leave my 8 week old puppy with a sitter in an emergency, and Leah was very communicative, kind, and generous. She met me right outside her building so we had no trouble finding her. We sat and chatted for a bit inside before I left for the day, so I felt comfortable before heading out. She even gave Frankie a new stuffed animal that he now can't sleep without because he loves it so much. She sent multiple texts and pictures while I was away, so I felt secure that Frankie was safe and sound.”
9. Anna R.
“Libby had a great day with Anna and her dogs. This was her first stay and it went really well. I felt confident that she was in a safe and friendly environment.”
10. Josh F.
“Josh is a pro! He is not only super friendly and fun to talk to, he's great with my dog! He goes above and beyond by picking her up, dropping her off, and spoiling her at the pet store. He also takes pictures and gives a thorough update upon drop off. Josh is my #1 for pet care!”
11. Audrey D.
“Hugo had a great day with Audrey. The day before we all had a “meet and greet” to go over Hugo’s likes and dislikes and health which made his stay that much more enjoyable. Audrey sent photos showing Hugo keeping active and happy. Hugo and I appreciate Audrey’s attention to detail and caring and we look forward to visiting again.”
12. Maille K.
“Maille was wonderful! This was our first time using Rover for day care for our dog. He clearly had a good time and probably would have liked to stay longer. He had a nice walk and seemed to get along well with Maille’s dog. We will be back for sure!”
13. Chava S.
“Chava was awesome and took great care of our dogs while we exploring Portland for the day! She was a great communicator and made sure our dogs were nice and tired when we picked them up.”
14. Jenna B.
“Thanks Jenna for being so kind and helpful! I was very anxious leaving Precious for her first time using Rover and this was a great experience for the both of us. Jenna sent us updates and pictures and when we picked up Precious, she was her playful, happy self. Thanks Jenna, if I am in the Portland area again would definitely consider!”
15. Rachel & Olabode S.
“I was lucky to find Rachel while visiting Portland on a short notice. Yuki had a great time with Rachel and her dog Astro. She came back very happy and tired. Thanks to awesome sitters like Rachel who shower so much love and affection to Yuki just like their own pets. Will totally recommend her!”
16. Jessica M.
“Jessica was so great with our little guy! We were nervous to leave him but she made us feel so comfortable, was very responsive and flexible, and our dog loved her! He was excited to go see her every morning. We would absolutely recommend her and will be asking her to watch our dog again.”
17. Justin B.
“Justin was terrific with my pup for two weeks in daycare, and I would rebook him (and likely will) in a heartbeat. He is very caring and attentive to the pets' needs and wants, and it shows he genuinely enjoys taking care of and spending time with pets. My pup was always excited to see Justin. I always felt entirely at ease leaving my pup with him all day, and he is not the friendliest or most adaptable with new people, so I was pleasantly surprised and contented with how well he took to him and how reassured I felt. Justin's communication is top-notch, and he kept me updated throughout the stay. He exhibits exceptional professionalism, kindness, and compassion. I would highly recommend him for any of your future pet care needs!”
18. James C.
“James C. recently cared for our fur babies. He’s competent, reliable, caring, conscientious, considerate and resourceful. We 100% highly recommend James ! Tara and Jeff.”
19. Malory T.
“Malory was generous enough to watch our dog at the last minute for daycare. Pepper was happy and well cared for. We will definitely lean on Malory again!”
