“Carissa was wonderful! Her communication was excellent, she sent pictures and videos, and my babies had a great time and were well taken care of!”
2. Julia U.
“I live in the same neighborhood and see Julia out walking her dog. She does so great with her dog even when shes not completely leash trained. Gives her lots of treats. In the backyard they play ball a few times a day. During summer she has a little doggie pool that her puppy splashes in. Her dogs seem well loved and cared for . I also know Julia is an RN and she is able to provide safe and effective care for medical needs.”
3. Anna C.
“My pup, Bentley had a wonderful stay with Anna while I was away. She was incredibly sweet and kind to him, and made sure to keep me posted on how he was doing with lots of pictures and updates. I had peace of mind knowing how well he was being taken care of by Anna while I was on my trip. He also had the best time playing with her cutie pups and made new friends. Thank you Anna and we hope to see you soon!”
4. Kristine & James B.
“Kristine & Jim - you guys are AMAZING!!! We are from Tampa and were in town working at the York State Fair. I reached out to these two, last minute and panicky after I wasn’t comfortable with the rover my boys were staying with. Kristine totally understood my concern and treated my two just like they were her own. The boys had a huge yard to run around in, a doggie door and the run of the house with her 2 boys!! I got lots of pics of everyone playing and having fun….total vacation for Dax & Bro!! It was one of the first times I have dropped the boys off and they didn’t look back as I left….that says it all for me!! Kristine & Jim - you were truly our life savers and we can’t wait to see you again next year!! Thank you for the incredible care, attention and compassion you gave our babies!!! ❤️Monica, Dax & Bro”
5. Nathaniel L.
“Easy drop off and pick up. Communication was great. We requested last minute and came early to get him and Nathaniel was super accommodating! Will book again!”
6. Alyssa L.
“Alyssa and her family took wonderful care of our boy. She kept me up to date on how everything was going with texts and photos. We are so happy to have found Alyssa!”
7. Trisha D.
“Trisha is awesome - she has taken care of our 2 boys Niko and Spiro on multiple occasions now, including a 3 day 2 night trip where she stayed at our house with them. Trisha is responsible and caring, and additionally, our typically shy and standoff-ish boy Niko even took a liking to her, which says a lot! Trisha even went out of her way to send pictures and videos of the time they spent together, which is great to see when you are away and wondering how your fur babies are doing. Thank you and I know that Niko and Spiro will look forward to the next time you watch them!”
8. Valerie & Ryan R.
“Amazing people! Dog lovers, took such good care of our dog, sent daily pictures. He was so happy in the pictures and looked so happy and healthy when we picked up when normally he looks very stressed. We will definitely be using again :)”
9. Amy S.
“One of the best rovers I’ve ever experienced. Thank you for such a great job with m6 dog. He was returned to me so happy and clean. Amy took pictures and told me about my dogs day everyday. Can’t wait to use her again!!”
10. Elise S.
“Elise was professional and kind. Would recommend her to everyone, she is fast at answering any messages I had and kept me up to date every walk she did with my babies. Thanks so much Elise. 5/5 stars over and over again!”
11. Anne T.
“Anne has been one of my best friends for almost 20 years. Growing up, her family always had well-cared for and well-behaved dogs. I got a dog just before Anne got Winston and I knew our dogs would be best friends. My dog, Georgie (Bernese mountain dog), loves his visits with Winston. We have also visited before only to find out Anne was watching another dog which meant more friends. This summer, I needed a place for Georgie to stay for my sister’s wedding. As soon as I told Anne, she immediately volunteered to host! Anne and her husband treated Georgie like their own. He got to spend his whole weekend playing with Winston, going on walks, and drinking lots of water in the hot summer. He slept the entire 3-hour ride home and then the rest of the day at home. If you’re debating between a kennel and Anne, the search is over! Book with Anne now!!!”
12. Kara R.
“My dog was one happy/tired puppy after staying with Kara for a few days!! She provided great communication and updates and is very flexible!! Would happy to rebook my dog with her.”
13. Josh R.
“Josh is terrific with Mocha. Mocha is still a puppy and has a lot of energy and can be very mischievous. Josh does great with keeping her attention and giving her lots of love.”
14. Laura H.
“Laura is absolutely wonderful! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. We felt 100% at ease with leaving our senior dog with Laura for over a week, as she has a lot of experience with senior dogs, rescues, and special needs. She and her husband are very nice down-to-earth people. Laura updated us every day with a photo and message about how our dog was doing. She even nicely agreed when we had to extend our service for a day, and when we had to arrive very late to pick our dog up due to traffic. We can't say enough good things about her! We highly recommend Laura to everyone, and will continue to use her wonderful dogsitting services. Our senior dachshund was very happy at Laura's, and he will miss her and her family til next time! Thank you Laura! :)”
15. Lynn "Beauty" B.
“I was seeking a sitter for my 6 month old Golden Retriever puppy. This was to be Jersey’s first stay away from home and also the first time in my life that I boarded any of my dogs. I was very anxious about the whole process and being able to find the quality of a sitter that I needed to feel comfortable. I read reviews for 10 – 15 sitters on Rover.com and found 3 that looked promising. Of the 3 Lynn’s reviews seemed to align with my needs more that any of the others. Throughout the process, Lynn was extremely supportive and made me feel at ease. We set up a “meet and greet” a few weeks before I was to go out of town. When Jersey and I arrived at her house, she and her 2 German Shorthair Pointers were waiting on the sidewalk to greet us. Lynn had suggested that meeting on neutral ground would reduce or eliminate any territorial issues between the dogs. She greeted Jersey enthusiastically and lovingly and had total control of her dogs, Daisy and Hank, which allowed Jersey and them to introduce themselves in a non-threatening manner. From there Lynn and her dogs gave Jersey and I a tour of the neighborhood and her home. She first took us to the church at the end of her street, where she has permission to let her dogs run free to get their daily play and exercise. She let her dogs loose and walked with Jersey and I around the property while Daisy and Hank played. We agreed that Jersey was not yet well enough trained to be off leash, so Lynn said she had a 30’ long lead that she would use when taking Jersey for her daily play with Daisy and Hank. Watching how well Lynn handled her own dogs convinced me I had found the right sitter. She showed Jersey and I her house, where the dogs sleep and all around the outside. Lynn has a pool that looks to be more for her dogs than for the humans of the household. For almost all of the time we were visiting, Hank swam around and around in the pool. After I confirmed the booking on Rover.com, Lynn and I set up one more date for Jersey and I to visit to ensure she was as comfortable with going there as possible. Each time we took Jersey, Hank and Daisy for walks down to the church and some playtime in the backyard. I also learned that Lynn and her husband served as the Vice President and President of the San Diego German Shorthair Pointer rescue which told me a lot about their love of animals and only increased my confidence that I had made the right choice. Lynn and I talked and emailed many times to ensure she knew everything about Jersey that she needed to know. One of the key things I needed from a sitter is for him/her to ensure that Jersey got her obedience commands practice every day while I was away. Jersey and I are participating in a training program and is important that she practice daily. Lynn had no problem doing that for us and with her experience and knowledge in dog handling, I was confident Jersey would get all that she needed. When the day came, my husband took Jersey for her 3 day stay with Lynn and her family. Being the professional that Lynn is, she kept Jersey very busy while my husband left, so Jersey wouldn’t be upset. Lynn took many pictures and some videos while I was away so that I could see how Jersey was doing. In addition to the daily routing, Lynn took the time to introduce Jersey to water and taught her to swim in the pool. From the video, it really looks like Jersey loved it. She also worked on some tricks with Jersey that I hadn’t been working on. When we arrived back to pick Jersey up, Jersey was all ready and glad to see us, but also appeared to be comfortable in her new home. She greeted us excitedly, but was not clingy. While Lynn and I talked, Jersey just went off to play on her own, coming back to the kitchen where we were standing to check periodically. When we got Jersey home, she just found her spot and went to sleep. She slept for most of the rest of the evening, which said to me she had been one very active puppy while we were away. I would recommend Lynn to anyone who cares about their dog. You will not be disappointed, nor need you have any fear that Lynn will not treat your dog as well as or better than you do yourself. She is experienced, competent, loving, caring and fun for our furry friends. She makes them her #1 priority while they are staying with her. She also has enrolled in many of the add-ons available through Rover.com, including 24 hour access to vets. MY only disappointment is that Lynn is now moving out of state and won’t be available for Jersey sitting in the future. What is a loss for San Diego dog lovers will now be a gain for those in PA. Best of luck, Lynn ‘Beauty’, in your new home and new life. ”
16. Kate K.
“I was very happy to see how Kate took care of Camila, I received updates very often, but more important Camila was as happier then ever before, that is a lot to said from a dog that don’t want to stay with any other person than us. It was a great experience for both, Camila and us. Thanks Kate!!”

18. Melisha F.
“Melisha is the most amazing dog sitter! ? My Nala stayed with her for three nights, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Seriously, Melisha is the absolute best! ? Communication was on point. I was getting updates from Melisha left and right - pics, videos, you name it! It felt like I was right there with my pup, even though I was miles away. And let me tell you, those adorable snaps made my day every single time. ? Melisha is a pro at making sure my pup got her meals and meds right on time. I was a bit nervous leaving my Nala behind while I went on vacation. But thanks to Melisha's top-notch care, I was able to relax and enjoy my getaway without a single worry. It's such a relief knowing that my pup was in the best hands possible. I can't recommend her enough. Seriously, give her a shout if you want your pup to have the time of their life while you're away. ??Thanks a million, Melisha! You're a rockstar! ⭐?”

“Christina was fantastic. It was last minute and she was great working with me and the dogs seemed to have a great time, especially Mickey. (He told me On the downlow)”
20. Estefany R.
“Solomon had so much fun and was so tired after playing with the other dogs, he slept all day and night! Estefany was so patient and understanding with him still being trained etc, and I feel confident he was loved as much there as he is at home! I would recommend Estanfany to anyone looking for a loving care taker for your pet. She and her family are wonderful!”
