“George and Gail provided a good home for our little Lokee while we were out of town. They have a good size yard where Lokee enjoyed his zoomies. They have dog beds everywhere, but Lokee found his spot on the couch. They have 2 beautiful ridgebacks who are great hosts as well. Lokee did not have an issue with them. About: I’ve taken in a senior dog who lost her family in 2020. She was frightened the first couple days, but grew to love our family and live a long happy life. We’ve trained puppies and even managed our protective blue healer back during our farm days. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around your dogs needs. You can rest easy knowing your pet’s needs are being met. We have two playful, friendly dogs and access to a fun dog park. Think of it as a mountain retreat for your dog with friends.

About: I have pet sat for many families in the past. I have about 3 regulars. I started pet sitting in my neighborhood about 2 and a half years ago and also got on another app and have had about 2 sittings from there. I have pet sat mostly dogs but also cats. I have done overnights, visits throughout the day, boarding in my home, walking, etc. I am also about to start including dog training! I also would love to add in hiking! I would even be up for doing day care in my home! I have also cared for senior dogs and have experience with giving medications. I have a German Shepherd so I love to get out and be active! I am currently working part time but am planning to go fully to pet sitting so I can help more pet owners out! I am not in school so I will be available the whole day to spend time with your pups. Your pup will be able to go outside when needed and get love 24/7. We have a fully fenced yard so lots of room for your pup to run! We also go on daily walks and sometimes enjoy going out hiking or to the park. I am very keen on crate training so your pup will need to be crated while unsupervised in my home. This is for mine and my dogs safety but also for your dogs safety! We keep our home very clean and dog/ puppy proof so no need to worry about your pup getting into anything! We also keep chew bones up and any high value items up. They get these high value items when they are individually in their crates or their own space! We have three dogs for your pup to play and socialize with always under supervision of me or the other person in my home.

“Brittany is EXACTLY what my senior dog needed. She met all his needs plus some and understood all his quirks. Even gave him a bath with a bonus bandana before pickup ?. She was able to feed him medicine and carry him up/down stairs. Very accomadable to providing him comfort with his multiple beds, blankets and pillows. Her family and children reacted well and she sent plenty of updates, pictures and videos to make me feel at ease. I have full confidence that any pet will feel welcome in her cozy log cabin home sitting on a couple acres with plenty of grass area for them to run and play. Brittany was able to provide constant supervision for my dementia boy who panics when alone. He had no anxiety while with her and didn't even care that I left, he felt right at home with Brittany. So glad she was available and local to home, it was a yuge relief!!”

I got pictures and a short report every day which eased any concerns I might have had (I really didn't have any after the meet and greet). Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust.
