She can be quite nervous in new settings but quickly warmed up to them and the their two dogs. It was great that they have a yard for them to play in as well. I especially appreciate the care, grace, patience and kindness that she has shown Beau over the past year+_, even as he has become more high maintenance (limited mobility, special diet, diapers, etc.). She always has funny stories, great photos and videos, which assures me that Beau is in good hands. As a mom of an elderly dog, I can, without hesitation, recommend "Aunt Serah" to those who are committed to the dignity, comfort and care of their older pups. “We're so happy that Matt agreed to care for our 5 year old terrier mix, Martha. As other reviewers have noted, it is obvious Matt loves dogs. His warm, calm, confident style allowed him to connect with Martha from the start, and Martha followed him into his building without any drama. Matt regularly sent pics and videos while we were away, and it was reassuring to see that Martha was doing well. Matt and his partner take their pups out for fresh air several times a day because they work at home, and Martha got the same great treatment. Pickup was a breeze. I recommend Matt without reservation and plan to use his services again next time we need to leave Martha in town when we're away.”
