Upon meeting Stephanie, Zak, and their puppy Handsome, we were greeted with such nice people and their home is a great open space where the dogs can run around and play together. My puppy had a great time and I loved that Stephanie was so quickly responsive to all of my texts and she took amazing pictures of my dog and sent them to me every day! I would definitely recommend Stephanie, Zak, and Handsome for your dogs stay while your away, it is so much better than a kennel or any other alternative as they play with the dogs and take them on multiple walks and treat them great! ”

Marc is very committed to understanding and meeting her specific needs. He takes great pictures, and even put a coat on her for chilly walks. (I had forgotten to bring her coat.) He was very understanding with a delay in her pick-up time. He's the best!”

Kara is high anxiety; Mary and David took her on lots of walks and took the time to figure out what worked best for her. Mary asked the the appropriate questions and was always reassuring that the dogs were all getting along well. Our flights were delayed a day coming home and Mary and Dave were so accommodating as well as gracious about taking the dogs on extra walks before pick up so they would be tired for us to get rest when we got home with them which was so fantastic and thoughtful. He is my emergency contact for my dog and I trust him without question. I am not alone; Eric provides walks and overnight care to other dogs in the area, and he strives to make sure his own dog Sandy has the BEST dog life, ensuring a great healthy diet and plenty of exercise. He is knowledgeably about both human and pet medical first response and maintains a calm demeanor when the situation warrants. I narrowed my search on the site, and the couple I chose was a perfect match for my needs and my dog's needs. Their description and offerings were true and accurate. They were welcoming, asked appropriate questions, and proved extra caring and loving of my dog, an 11 pound Bichon Frise. From 11am to 11am, I received 5 text and 1 photo updates to reassure me all was well. It was a good and happy experience for their dog and mine. They are Best Buddies now. “Odin had a wonderful stay with Jacquelyn! She sent frequent photo/video updates and was always available for communication throughout his whole stay. This was my first time using DogVacay, and Jackie set the bar very high! I was traveling to Martha's Vineyard, and although I have been going for many years, this was the first time with a pet, and the place where we were staying was not pet-friendly. Even before I officially made the reservation, Jackie answered all of my (many) questions and remained very flexible - we had planned to bring him around the island to do different things during the day and board him at Jackie's house at night. Unfortunately since it's well into tourist season, there weren't a ton of things we could do with Odin, but I was happy to know that he still had fun on his trip! He got along well with her pups, too! Thank you again, Jackie!”
