“Jordan was great! There’s a 2 mile dirt road to property and he was at the gate in case I didn’t want to drive up, which was very considerate of him. He has very good energy, respectful, and was thorough about asking what my dog needs and likes and any expectations I have while he watched her. He also communicated with the whole time as well as sent pictures. My dog enjoyed her time. I would definitely recommend and go to him again if ever in the future.”

“Bruce and I have been together for just over a year now and have bonded so tightly we both have separation anxiety. We've never been apart more than 4 hrs. I had a last minute 10-day trip to Costa Rica come up and couldn't take Bruce. I was super anxious about leaving Bruce for that long. He is a rescue, and I didn't want him to think I abandoned him. Also, he was attacked while at his shelter and is dog-apprehensive, so being with other dogs doesn't always work. Brittany was able to take Bruce very last minute. She was so supportive of my concerns and put me completely at ease. When I arrived with Bruce at Brittany's property, I discovered it was well fenced, with several areas where the dogs can run and play or be separated. Her property is in the piney woods and mostly natural, which is great for dogs. Very pretty. Brittany had 3 big dogs, and Bruce was apprehensive at first. But Brittany's dogs did not react to him, and within 3 min. they all broke into play. Brittany and Aaron both treated Bruce as one of the family. They let him inside as much as he wanted, they cuddled with him, kept him extra cozy warm when it stormed outside, and sent me pics and updates daily. Knowing my Bruce was in such incredibly good care made me able to have an intensely immersive trip to Costa Rica. I can tell Bruce misses Brittany, Aaron, and their dogs very much. And I am already looking for excuses to take him back for play dates and overnights soon. Brittany will care for your beloved pet with her heart, and treat them like family. I could not ask for more. Bruce had the best time with them.”

What truly set this dog sitting experience apart was the level of personalized attention Boo received. Daily updates, complete with photos and videos, were sent to me, ensuring I was never far from Boos adventures. Their dog Bella and Boo got along very well and were a great pair. In this off-grid setting, Boo enjoyed a variety of activities that kept her both mentally stimulated and physically active. From scenic hikes through the wilderness to playful sessions of fetch in a spacious, fenced yard, Boo was in doggy heaven. Jesper's commitment to providing ample exercise was evident in Boos content demeanor upon my return. In conclusion, our off-grid dog sitting experience was a resounding success. “Patti and Joe are very nice and love their dogs. Rylee's stay was good and he did receive lots of activity, attention and made a new friend in Buttons! The only issue was when Rylee returned home, he had stomach (throwing up) and potty (diarrhea) issues. I believe this was due to extra food/treats/kibble that he received outside of the instructed daily recommended kibble plan that he is accustomed to. He has a very sensitive stomach and is typically not given any people food or alternate dog food and has to follow the instructed meal schedule. Once he gets back on track he will be ok and otherwise all was well. Thank you!”

“Gina did an excellent job at taking care of Nacho- my 10 lb chihuahua mix! She was wonderful at catering to his needs. She made sure he was safe in the yard and comfy on the stairs in her home. She kept me updated on how he was doing multiple times throughout the day while I was away. When I realized I forgot a toy for him, she got him one! It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands! Would definitely hire Gina again to take care of Nacho. It was clear when she dropped him off that he really liked her. Thanks Gina!!”

I currently have two dogs who absolutely love making new friends and playing with other dogs. I also have an indoor/outdoor cat who is a shy boy until he gets to know the person or animal. I work at home, so I am here all the time. I have a few acres of well fenced in land, as well as a smaller fenced in backyard area. It’s really a dog’s dream land over here! I have one small dog and one large dog, both of whom are comfortable with and respectful to every size dog. My larger dog is amazing with puppies and is a gentle player, but can also play hard if the other dog is up for it. I guarantee your dogs will leave my house happy and tired!! I recently put down my dog of 15 years, so I have intimate knowledge of senior dog care as well. Unfortunately, I am not available for overnight stays at YOUR house, but I am happy to care for your babies at my home for a short or extended period of time. I am open to making day visits to your home depending on your proximity to me, so please feel free to reach out for those kinds of inquiries as well. I have a large fenced in piece of land, with a smaller fenced in backyard. The fence has been reinforced for my own two escape artists, so they are well confined. My two dogs are very dog friendly and love to play. Your animal must be dog and cat friendly. My cat will most likely hide while your dog is here, but I don’t want to take any chances in case he decides to come out :)

“We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again. Thank you Sara- you are the best!”
