While I missed her, I was never worried about her. Marc sent photos, videos, and updates, asked about strange behaviors but not in a way that was worrisome. She had a great week tiring out the other doggos. And Marc even said she was welcome back any time! Welcoming family with young kids, safe yard, and a really fun crew of dogs. She clearly had a great time, she’s absolutely pooped her first day back home.”

“Sarah was amazing. Such a lovely person to work with. She listened to what I had told her about Nixie with a steady ear and provided solutions to counter those concerns. Sarah does this full time, 24/7 with a plethora of knowledge of animals. She provided daily updates on nixie and her behaviors, especially with the other animals she was boarding along side Nixie. Her home is set up very nicely with plenty of room for all doggos to roam and play. Nixie looked sad to be going home, but I am sure we will be seeing Sarah in the future. You don’t want to overlook her, she truly is amazing.”

“Kenneth and Cheyenne were great host for my baby Moji. They were extremely responsive, caring, and kind. I provided some what complicated feeding instructions and they followed to the best of their abilities and were able to make accommodations when necessary. They have a Pekingnese dog, Mantou that was a great playmate for my Moji. They played very well together. Kenneth provided lots of photos and video updates that eased my mind that Moji is in good care. Kenneth and Cheyenne both work from home so I like that they're physically around in case if anything happens. They have a big yard for Moji to run around in and sunbathe! I would totally book with them again. I recommend you try them out!”

“Ka Yan watched our dogs for 4 days. She did a wonderful job in keeping us connected with our dogs by texting pictures of them. When I picked them up they were excited to see me and didn’t head for the exit door. Ka Yan has a calm demeanor and that is great because our standard poodle has a lot of energy. Thanks Ka Yan!”

“This is the first time using Rover.com. Before, a friend took care of Twist on our vacations, but she has since moved away. We tried a kennel on our previous vacation, and it was a horrible experience for all of us. My dog was so freaked out afterward that it took a few days for him to recover. We also found a cut on his paw that was never reported. This last vacation, we decided to try Rover.com. We had booked another sitter, but he had a family emergency that came up. Luckily, Pyai responded quickly to our request. We had a meet and greet over the phone, and I felt comfortable leaving my loved one with him. At the door, Pyai was calm and his home seemed quiet. This was perfect for Twist, because loud noise freaked him out. Twist gets bored of his kibble, so we transition kibble with him often. It so happened that during the drop-off, Twist was running out of his kibble and needed to transition into the new bag. Pyai had no trouble handling this transition. Throughout our vacation, Pyai would send pictures, videos, and updates about Twist. Twist is a very shy dog and can get nervous around new people. He won't let just anyone rub his belly, but Pyai was rubbing his belly by the third day. Which meant he had grown to trust Pyai in a very short amount of time. I felt reassured that Twist was in good hands. We had a little issue with picking up Twist. Pyai's house is so big, he doesn't hear when someone's at the door. Calling him on the phone is the most effective way to get his attention. However, when the door did open, we were pleasantly surprised at how calm Twist was. In fact, when Pyai went back into the house to fetch his toys, Twist made as if he was going to follow him. I didn't know how to feel about that, but I take it as a good sign. We will definitely use Pyai again in the future.”

“Ari is amazing! He stayed with our doggie for 5 nights and 6 days. Ari sent photos and videos which we greatly appreciated. Our dog can get rashy if she's on grass for too long. She was happy, loved, and rash free when we picked her up. Thank you so much again Ari! We appreciate you! Our doggy will definitely be back :)”

“Nohemi takes excellent care of our 7 yrs old Cockapoo (Captain) with no issues at all. She is great in replying back to messages and send pic of our Captain. I will definitely use her again for another boarding in a coming weeks and recommend her to anyone who needs good care of their dogs.”

“Robert was so easy to work with. I have a large dog (over 100lbs) who doesn’t really get along with other dogs. Robert has a great secured yard with may partitions to keep his different doggie guests separated. I was nervous about leaving such a big dog in another persons care but Robert is a confident pro. He kept my dog separate from the other dogs and there were no issues. I had a great experience and will happily use Robert again .”

“We are very happy that we found Olivia. We had another rover sitter cancel on us shortly before we were heading out of town, and Olivia helped us out on short notice. She did a great job communicating with us while we were out, and our pup, Zoe, looked very comfortable and happy at Olivia's place. She was flexible with our pick up and drop off times, and she genuinely cares about the dogs that she watches. “Mary and her husband were great! They had a separate cat room where Misty stayed and was super communicative and flexible around pick up and drop off times. Mary also sent a lot of pictures and kept us updated throughout our cat's stay which we really appreciated. She even went out of her way to get special treats for our cat early in our cat's stay when she had a limited appetite. Overall, we definitely recommend her to others and are planning on having Misty stay with them again. :)”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life and can’t express how much I love having and taking care of them. I’ve had two Chihuahuas for 8 years and 18 years, Siberian Husky for 13 years and recently German/Australian Shepards for 14 years. My husband and I had a household full of love with our dogs. Our German Shepards both recently passed last year and it was tough. What helped us cope and go about our day was our newly adopted 3 year old pup. He is a Yorkie/Chihuahua and just the sweetest boy! We’re so happy he’s in our lives. We can’t wait to love and treat your pet like a part of our family! I am home everyday and have the time to take care and play with your dog. We live across from a park, which is convenient for multiple walks and not too far from the main local dog park at the Marina. We often take walks around the neighborhood as well. Our 3 year old pup enjoys all the walk time he gets and I’m sure your dog will too. We also have a fenced yard and supervise all dogs that want to play in the yard. We allow your dog to sit on our couch or dog cot as we want them to feel cozy and at home.

“Gus had a fabulous experience staying with Izzy and his family. It is obvious that Izzy loves dogs as much as we love our pups. He sent pictures and commentary to ease this helicopter mom’s nerves. Gus was happy, well fed and tired from playing. I can’t say enough good things about this stay. We will definitely bring Gus back knowing he is in such competent care.”

Their dog Kashi is just a sweet and gentle and buddied up with Molly immediately. Molly can be very shy and timid, and we are nervous leaving her with new people, but they were very patient with her, could read Molly's needs, and even let her snuggle in their bed to provide more comfort for her! Molly gained their trust very quickly, and we are looking forward to the next time they are available to care for her!”
