About Me
Jon is retired and Marge works 1 or 2 days a week as a nurse. We love dogs and have always had one. We volunteer for our local Humane Society and have fostered as well. Marge is an RN and has volunteered at the local Rabie clinic. We live beside a park and 1/2 block from the Kankakee River. Our dogs get plenty of exercise. They are very friendly and welcome the company of other dogs. They have both completed obedience classes and Delilah is a certified Therapy Dog with Bright and Beautiful. Your dog would be well cared for and would have a good time in our park and walking along the river. Becuase Jon is retired, someone is always home. We are available May thru December. We are Winter Texans so we head south for the winters.
We have added a third dog to our pack. Little Comet was a failed foster attempt on our part!! He is 7.5 pounds of love. He is little chi mix and is very friendly. Our dogs are crated at night so there is room in our bed for us! We need any visitors to be crated at bedtime too. Also we want any visitors to be spayed or neutered and to have their shots up to date.

Honey Bear had a great time. Even tho this was a short stay. She loves going to Marge and Jon's house. She gets to play with them and their 2 dogs. They are such a great couple. We will use them every chance we get.

Marge & Jon are awesome!! They sent us pics everyday of Honey Bear's DogVacay. She went to the park with their 2 dogs, and met other dogs there too! She had a great time and we had peace of mind knowing she was with a great couple of "dog people." It was great getting updates on her antics, and she can be quite comical, as they found out. They were sad to see her leave but we were happy to get her back home. Honey Bear can't wait for us to go away again so she can go play with Samson and Delilah. Oh yeah, and Marge and Jon too!
