  I have lost count of the number of times Sunny has stayed with Mama Sue. He always comes home happy, healthy and tuckered out....especially if Ellie is there. Sue is so caring of our little guy which is why we keep using her over and over again. She treats our baby like her own. Gini & Pat

  Sue and Rocky provide a wonderful, inviting, safe and fun haven for my little dog. My Cavie is very friendly but can be a little shy with other dogs but he adores playing with Rocky and other pet guests. He is used to lots of affection and gets ample attention from Sue. When I drop him off he runs to the door happy for another doggie camp adventure. Thank you Sue and Rocky!

  Sue was a great sub-mama for Oscy. I knew it would be home away from home for him and that was important to me. She was happy to follow his special green bean diet which I greatly appreciated as keeping weight off Oscar is a daily job. The picture updates every day were very comforting as well. He was a happy and healthy dog when I picked him up. Oscar and Sue had bonded well and it was heart warming to see the sweet goodbye they gave each other before we left. I'd definitely use Sue again!

  We have been using Sue for about a year now and stay unbelievably satisfied with the care our Sunny gets there. He stayed longer than usual this time - 8 days and things were awesome. She texted me every day with updates on how he was doing. I cannot tell you how much more enjoyable our trips are knowing how well he is being taken care of. Thank you Sue

  Excellent experience with my 2 dogs. Sue was accomodating to their needs and habits and my schedule. She sent texts and pictures daily so I could see they were doing well. When I got home they were hysterical (expected...), but quickly settled back to normal so I know they were well cared for and happy.

  Sue is great! First time leaving my dog Izzy with someone and I felt like a parent taking their kids to their first day of kindergarten. Sue must have know that and sent me a picture of Izzy, letting me know that she was doing fine, and "playing well with others" :) There may be people that are as good as Sue, for taking care of your dog...but I don't believe you will ever find anyone better.

  I was definitely nervous leaving my two dogs with a complete stranger, especially being high energy and honestly sometimes downright obnoxious!! But Sue was awesome! Not only did she assure me that my dogs really weren't as bothersome as I made them out to be, but she sent me pics of them taking over her living room furniture, begging for treats, playing with other house guests and harassing her husband!! She didn't make me feel like a bother when I checked in on how they were doing. They had such a great time, Sue is now my go to whenever I need to leave town or even have a long day at work and need a babysitter!! Thanks again Sue!! Jen, Emma, and Max :-)

  Sue took wonderful care of Willow. She continually sent us pictures and text messages of how well Willow was doing. Willow loves to be with other dogs and I think she particularly enjoyed the walks and playtimes with Sue's dog Rocky. Being in a cozy rather than a sterile kennel made WIllow feel very safe and comfortable. Picking her up was easy because she was happy.

  Sue was AMAZING! Though I didn't interact with her personally, my sister said she was as pleasant in person as via phone and email. Angus came home happy and stress free. She even took some adorable photos of him! And, when he took it upon himself to be less than gentlemanly (read: pee on the floor) Sue handled the situation gracefully, for which my sis was mightily grateful. I'll definitely be calling Sue again.

  Sue is great at keeping me updated on my dog. She sends photos with her daily text update, which helps me feel more confident my dog is doing well. She understands my dog is people oriented and prefers her attention over play time with other dogs. She is good at scheduling so it isn't overcrowded and never forgets our appointments. The only negative I experienced was my dog was given access to food/treats that weren't his, which made him itchy.

  Sue looked after our dog with such good love and care. I was very unsure about leaving him with many kennels/dog "hotels", and Sue's home and passion for dogs appeared to be the right alternative! I am thankful that that's the way it has worked out. We have taken our dog, Simba (a 12lb Coton sweetie), there twice now and both times he has come away from the experience with a giddy, confident mood. I observed her own dog, Rocky, serve as a "wise moderator" in pack interactions and I sincerely believe that he has improved Simba's trust in bigger dogs. It also helped tremendously that Sue texted regular photo updates featuring Simba. On the occasions when I had a sudden concern about his health or behavior, she welcomed me to text her about it and she was great about replying quickly! It turns out that Simba kept in good health during his stay, and I was much relieved that she helped to maintain his coat while we were away. (He has a rather full amount of white fluff on him, and it mats and collects random yucky-stuff more than preferred.) When we returned, Simba was looking lovely and clean. Also, we much appreciated that Sue and her husband managed to get us to and from PDX airport. She took care of it all on time. I can gladly report that, provided your dog is good with other dogs and very kind people, I HIGHLY recommended Sue to be the next one looking after your dog. She'll be one to give your dog the great one-on-one love, attention to detail, and thoughtful care. After seeing things work out over the course of a week, it's like we discovered a godmother/aunt/grandma/extra loving Mom for Simba :)

  Sue was such a great host! She made Banyan (our 9-month-old lab/blue heeler mix) a part of her pack for 11 days. She sent us updates every day. He seemed to love her, the dogs, and the environment. We plan on taking him back to Sue for daycare visits!

  We really appreciated that Sue sent us daily photos and a video during Kirby's stay with her. Sue is very friendly and was very open to us briefing her on Kirby's habits, likes and dislikes. We plan on booking with her again during our next vacation!

  This is the 4th or 5th time that Sunny as stayed with Sue. She takes such good care of him and loves him like her own. I get daily text messages to keep me updated on how he is doing which puts my mind at ease. He will go back again and again since I travel constantly and I need to known he is well taken care of

  Sue did everything possible for our small dog, Oscar. She gave us some ideas for making Oscar more comfortable when he is sleeping, and had other insightful ideas. Oscar had great fun playing with another dog. We enjoyed the pics Sue sent us. We felt that Oscar was in a stress-less environment. This meant that we did not have to worry at all about his level of care while we were gone for 11 days.

  Our little westie Fleur had a blast due the stay in Sue House. There where always other dog and her own dog and in the two weeks she became a little new family member. We can highly recommended Sue,not only because of her positive personality but rather forthe warmly welcome and hosting she provides for the dogs. Normally she send pic on your cellphone but because we stayed in Germany she sent us every second day pics and a little summary and so we had a positive feeling that everything works great fro us and our dog.

  Sue is a very kind person and took excellent care of our furry friend while we were out of town for two weeks. We will definitely use her services again and we recommend her without hesitation. I think our dog was actually a little lonley her first night back with us.

  Lucky had a wonderful time at Rocky's Play House- a perfect doggy vacation! After having a great week playing with Rocky in Sue's lovely backyard, I'm not sure Lucky wanted to end her vacation (a sign she had a good time, and that I found the right host)! Sue is an excellent host and sent me updates on Lucky's stay, putting my mind at ease while away. I know Lucky looks forward to her next visit to Rocky's Play House!

  We've had tried a few different kennels for our dog Tango, but it would take days for her to get back to "normal" after a stay. She would stick to us like glue once we returned home. Even when we had friend's house sit. Same thing. But Sue's place was so different. Once Tango got home, she got right back into our routine like we had never been gone. Sue sent us a few photos and I could tell Tango was enjoying her stay! A stay over in home/family environment is the way to go for Tango while we are away!!

  Sue took great care of our dogs Oreo & Sophie! We appreciated the daily photo text messages she sent of our dogs. We could see that our girls were enjoying their dog vacation while we were away. I recommend Sue & Rocky's place for dogs that are accustomed to good care and attention.

  Cleo had a great vacay stay at Rocky's playhouse. Cleo got to hang out on the sunny deck with Sue and watched the squirrels play in the trees. I loved the pictures Sue sent me of Cleo while we were gone. Sue made Cleo feel like she was part of the family. We will be back!

  Sue was a great host and took excellent care of Taser. Sue even sent me some adorable pictures of Taser throughout the day so I could see how he was doing. I would definitely leave Taser with Sue again the next time I need a sitter!

  Sue had a heavenly backyard for our dog, Lina, to run her heart out. It was wonderful to know that we didn't have to bring a crate. During Lina's stay, Sue sent me photos and updates. So thoughtful! I think Lina is already looking forward to her next stay.

  Sue did a wonderful job taking care of Chloe. She has a great home with plenty of outdoor space for an energetic dog to run around and play. I wouldn't hesitate to leave Chloe with her again.

  I must admit I was nervous about leaving Captain with someone I did not know. I went for a meeting and I knew Sue and her husband, Alan, were dog people. Sue has a beautiful fenced yard where the dogs are free to run. Sue also allows the dogs to be in the house when the dog chooses. Now this is no small thing...most people don't want a 90+ hairy golden retriever in their house like a little lap dog. Like me, this did not bother Sue. Sue treated Captain like he was her's. Cared for him...fed him...gave him his vitamins, but most of all loved him. What made leaving Captain easier was the cute text Sue sent on a daily basis with pictures of our boy! My kiddos loved it and they too felt comfortable leaving him. I now know I can leave for a vacation and entrust a wonderful couple with a member of my family. Thank you so much Sue and Alan for everything! Captain will return! :)

  I have a 1 year old puppy and this is the first time I have left her with someone else so I was a bit nervous. The stay couldn't have gone better. Sue was very responsive and sent me picture updates. My dog bonded with her dog and had a great time. Two thumbs up! -E

  Sue was so great from first contact to pick-up. She was prompt in her responses and gave me a lot of her time answering questions. This was the first time we had our dog, Moe, stay at someone's home. He is a rescue and a little nervous but he did great with Sue! She sent me a few photos of him before we even left town and that was very reassuring that he was having a great time. Her yard is beautiful and perfect for the dogs to play and run. I will definitely be taking Moe back to Sue when we go out of town! Thanks Sue!
