  Alan watched our dog again for a bit over a week and it went great as always. Alan's a terrific host for Sasha and she does very well with him. Alan's our go-to host when we have to go out of town.

  Once again, Alan provided exceptional care of our dog, Tess. He's so good to send updates of their day along with a picture attached so we can see that it's true, our dog is loving her time with him! We couldn't give a better review of his services...Alan provides peace of mind and you can tell he truly loves what he's doing. He treats Tess as one of his own and truly knows how she operates. We'd give him 10 stars if we could!

  Bode has been to visit Alan, Darwin & Sheeba several times now and has always had a great time. He loves his new friends and doesn't want to leave. Alan has been very responsive to emails and conscientious with our dog. He has tried to send a photo text every day to keep us updated. We really like that Bode gets lots of exercise when he's with Alan and appreciate Alan's positive training style with the dogs.

  We are so happy to have found the right host for our dog Violet. She loved the daily exercise- walks, runs hikes and lots of snuggle down time too! My husband and I loved the pictures he sent to us, looked like she was having a great time! We liked Alan right from our first meeting, and the way he handles everything in his calm and confident way. We appreciate all the care, attention and knowledge-thank you so much Alan!

  Alan was amazing! Colby-Jack had a wonderful time and was worn out at the end of his stay, which meant he got plenty of exercise. Alan kept in touch and texted pictures and updates throughout Colby's stay at his home, and it was wonderful knowing my dog was in good hands! I would recommend Alan to anyone looking for a safe, stress-free stay for their dog.

  Alan was awesome in letting my dogs stay with him on short notice. I was able to show my family pictures of my dogs life(on walks on trails and on the couch!) when they were with Alan - they were shocked that dogs could luck out on a boarding situation over the holidays. Alan is extremely kind and conscientous and loves dogs - I know my dogs were happy there even though I missed them so much.

  Sasha loved her stay with Alan, Sheeba, and Darwin! She came home relaxed and calm and a joy to be with. Watching her with Alan's dogs it was obvious that they all got along very well together and Sasha loved joining their pack for a few days. Alan was great about staying in touch with texts and photos to let us know that Sasha was being well attended to. We could hardly have asked for better care and Sasha love hitting the trails with them. We've already booked our next stay!

  Alan was fantastic and I am so glad I was able to connect with him when we were looking for someone to watch our puppy, Bosley. He was so responsive and made the process very easy and comfortable. His home is wonderful and he really has a passion for animals and it shows. He took the dogs to the park several times during the weekend as well as to the lake. The pictures that I got throughout the weekend of Bosley were so cute and he looked like he was having a great time. I am so relieved that we found Alan and I feel so comfortable leaving my dog with him. We will certainly be using him to watch Bosley again.

  After searching for a place to leave our Border Collie, Tess, while we were away for a week, we managed to find Alan through DogVacay. He was very prompt in returning messages, answering questions with details on what to expect and how to go about the process. We had never left her before, but with our children living away now, we had to find a place for her. Our meet n greet went well and we left there feeling very comfortable with Alan knowing border collies and the traits they possess. He was very knowledgeable about canine behavior in general and the compassion he has for dogs was very evident. His own dogs were very welcoming and we could see that Tess would be accepted into their 'pack'. We left her with him a few days later and went away on our trip. Alan was very good about sending daily email updates and pictures of their time together. We could see by the body language in the pictures that Tess was very comfortable and enjoying her time with them. His comments were spot on with Tess' behavior and we could tell that he truly was caring for her. I can't tell you the peace of mind we had with the whole situation! Being home a day now, I think Tess is wishing we could go on a daily run like Alan provided for her! Dare I say she got spoiled in a good way?! Alan and his 'family' were such a blessing to us! Thank you Alan and DogVacay- we don't have to fear ever leaving her again! Frankie C.

  Alan is terrific! He cared for Blake as his own. I told my friends while I am on vacation, my dog is in bootcamp. Blake is an athletic dog who enjoys being active and I could not have wished for a better sitter for Blake! Alan took Blake out with his two dogs for runs and walks every day! He is the ultimate pack leader as evident by his dogs excellent behavior and his ability to manage a new member of his pack. The daily photos made me feel at ease, knowing Blake was in excellent, capable and dog-centered hands! I look forward to having Blake stay with Alan in the future and would not hesitate to recommend him. I am thrilled to have a responsible sitter who puts as much energy into my dogs needs as his own.
