  Barbara was better for our dogs than we could have hoped! We have two large, friendly dogs that can be very needy and annoying at times. At our first meet and greet, Barbara really took the time to get to know both dogs, and spoke with us about specific needs. The dogs were thrilled to be in Barbara’s home, as well as in her large backyard. My husband and I left our pups with Barbara for a few days while we were getting married, and despite other wedding stresses, we didn’t worry about Lily and Gordie at all! Barbara was so good about texting us pictures regularly, it really left us with such a wonderful impression! When we went to pick up our dogs, they were so content they really didn’t want to leave! Judging by the way our dogs acted when they got home, they were treated very well. Me, my husband, and Lily & Gordie all highly recommend Barbara. We will be contacting her again for another visit!

  We had a last minute need for a dogsitter and had to schedule a last minute Meet and Greet. Barbara was wonderful with our dog! Every few days she sent a picture and kept us up-to-date on how Murphy was doing. It was a wonderful first experience with Dogvacay & Barbara. I will definitely use this service again. And will be so happy if Barbara agrees to take our pup!

  We felt Barbara really kept us posted with news and photos while we were traveling and was sending us pictures of Sienna doing various activities. Barbara's comfort with all dogs and situations helped us relax during our trip knowing our dog was in good hands. Barbara worked with us when my son came into town and adjusted her schedule so he could pick up our dog while we were still traveling. We were very pleased with Barbara and would use her again.

  Barbara is so fantastic! I am so glad that we have found her! We have used her twice and both times she has beat our expectations. We have a very, shy, timid male dog and taking him to a kennel is not an option. The first time Barbara watched him, she mentioned she had done research on the internet on how to work with dogs like ours. That is going the extra mile! She lives just a couple blocks from us, has a nice size backyard for her guests and I know our little guy is in great hands when we leave him with Barbara! I would highly recommend her and I now look forward to booking trips out of town since I know I don't have to worry about who is going to watch him! Thanks Barbara!! You are the BEST!

  Barbara is organized, responsive and very professional. In addition she clearly loves dogs. This experience was so much better than taking our dog to a boarding kennel... Both for us and the dog. I highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking for a responsible, reliable pet sitter.

  We couldn't be more pleased with Barbara! After five days, our beagle Charlie was relaxed and happy when we picked him up. Gone was the stress, anxiety and kennel cough from previously boarding him at a "pet hotel". Barbara is so organized and thorough! We did a meet and greet, completed a profile for him, with everything from emergency phone numbers to how many treats he could have. Her house is neat and clean with a secure backyard and it's a plus that she works from home. She sent text updates and photos of Charlie and we could tell he was at ease, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation. We would recommend Barbara and plan on leaving Charlie with her in the future.

  Barbara H. was the perfect choice for our Golden Retreiver "sandy"! She is very kind and so caring it made us feel comfortable leaving our family member with her. She sent a wonderful picture update and took Sandy for walks! I would highly reccomend using Barabara H. Laurie Adams, Scottsdale

  This was our first experience with DogVacay for our dog Jake. In the future, we need look no further than your organization and Barbara H. for caring for Jake when we're away. Barbara is a caring, sensitive animal-lover who exceeded our expectations in caring for our 13-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback. We know this because after we picked up Jake and brought him home, it was as if he had just been away for a short while instead of 5 days. When he's been boarded, upon his return home he would be exhausted and his stomach upset, and it took a couple days before he would resume eating normally. After his stay with Barbara, Jake came home and was just like his ole self! Thanks, Brabara!
