About Me

I am lucky enough to live with a very sweet golden retriever, and a cat that thinks he is a golden retriever. Additionally, I volunteer for a nonprofit that raises service dogs for people with disabilities, and in this role have served as a vacation home for multiple dogs while their families were away, so both of my pets are very well socialized.

On weeknights my dog and I love to walk around our neighborhood or visit a local park, and on weekends we frequently walk to the farmer's market and around the North Pond Nature Sanctuary in Lincoln Park.

Although I don't have a fenced-in yard, I am lucky to live in a neighborhood with lots of grass, lots of families with dogs, and several dog parks within a few blocks of where we live. While both of my pets love play time, their favorite time of day is cuddle-time in the evenings. Whether it's curling up on the couch together while reading a book or watching a movie on Netflix, our house is filled with lots of love.

Finally, as I have a dog with food allergies (she is now on a raw food diet), and previously owned a cat with thyroid problems who required twice-daily medication, I am very comfortable administering special diets or medications if needed by your pet!
