About Me
Salutations! I'm Jamie. I am a recent college grad working at the University of Chicago and living in Hyde Park. I grew up with a goofy lab and an energetic corgi and have enjoyed dog sitting all of my life. My boyfriend and I (2 sitters for the price of 1!) have been fostering all kinds of pooches for the past year and have really enjoyed welcoming new buddies into our home. We've had experience with all sorts of breeds from pitbulls to chihuahuas, huskies to dachshunds. We love long walks, playing with tennis balls and catering to your dog's specific needs and personality. Jamie was great. We left our four year-old dachshund Cippy with Jamie for the weekend, and she took great care of him. He had back surgery last year, and so he can't really do stairs anymore, and Jamie was happy to carry him up and down the stairs whenever she took him out. When we picked up Cip he was really happy - he clearly had a terrific time. Also, Jamie is very reliable. She was on time for the meet and greet and the pickup and always responded to emails quickly. Overall, 5 out of 5. We'll be calling up Jamie next time we need a dog-sitter for Cip.

Jamie is great! This was the first time I used DoggyVacay and I was a bit nervous to leave my pups at another home for 10 days. Jamie agreed to travel to my home for an initial meet and greet. The dogs immediately loved her and I liked her friendly and responsible demeanor. During my time away, Jamie emailed several updates, with pictures, showing my that my pups were enjoying themselves during their own vacation.
