  Linda and her family (husband and dogs) were very professional when I met with them. This was my first time on this site and using a private individual, I really did not know what to expect. I needed someone to watch Kimba late into the evening, after the normal business hours that standard doggy daycare places provided and I just happen to stumble across this website when looking. I was going to be visiting family and friends and wanted to leave Kimba somewhere where I knew he would receive constant love and attention, someone to play with him since he is a 4 month old deaf mini Aussie. I truly struck gold with Foothill Furkids Bed & Barkfest. Kimba received so much love and attention and their dog, Cooper, became Kimbas instant friend. I think it was because Kimba could not hear Cooper bark at him and Cooper was happy Kimba was fearless. They played nonstop while Linda and her husband were able to send me a few pics/youtube video to enjoy while I was away from him. Foothill Furkids provided such a loving and warm environment for Kimba that when I visit next time, if they are available, I am going to bring Kimba even if I don’t need to. I had a relaxing worry free day and Kimba was at Disneyland as far as he was concerned. I know that if I needed to leave Kimba overnight he would have been well loved just as if at home, not locked in a lonely cage/carrier and left in a building with no one till morning. He truly became part of their family, even playfully egging on Linda’s dog Twigs with her own toy, begging her to chase him one last time before leaving. Linda provided a warm and loving environment and I cannot wait to visit them again – if Kimba could talk, he probably would have pouted like a child, begging me to stay longer. Thanks for the memory.

  We are very happy with the way they take care of our dog. We are pretty particular where our dog is when we're gone. We think he couldn't be possibly treated better anyplace else. He's taken care of just as if he was their dog. Steven de Haas

  We had a wonderfully positive experience with Linda. My husband and I left our dogs Tyson and Sam with Linda for approximately three weeks while we got married and then went on our honeymoon. Our dogs are like our kids so we were relieved that we found Linda on DogVacay. Our dogs were able to go on a vacation of their own while enjoying the outdoors, daily walks, a pool, lake, horses and other wildlife. Linda also sent us emails, pictures and some video footage while we were away. Although DogVacay is expensive, especially for long term stays, it is worth it to know that your dogs are well taken care of.

  Linda was an awesome host for our dog! Being a fellow DogVacay host I was extra picky in looking for the "perfect' place for our dog! Linda understood and listened to my concerns regarding our "older" dog. She took him out for lots of walks and fun times swimming. I loved getting the pictures during his stay. Would definitely recommend her and look forward to using her again!

  Our experience here was amazing and wonderful. Not only is the site doggie paradise (large fenced acreage with lots of lawn) but the owners are very loving, passionate about the well being of animals, and detail oriented. We took extra time beforehand to get their dogs and our doggie well acquainted and they all got along well and played together. We had a great experience and we're eager to bring our dog again here soon! I highly recommend them.

  The way these great people took care of our dog was absolutely wonderful. They even sent photos of our animal while we were on vacation. Fantastic, caring people. They take care of the visiting dogs as if they were their own. We recommend them highly. We will use them again.
