  Noni and Chico seemed to have a great time and I have no doubt they were well taken care of. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the Alameda area.

  This was my first time using dogvacay and I have to admit that I was a little anxious, but I am SO happy to have found Dane and Tony. They are absolutely wonderful. Frank is a nervous dog, but after being with them for a night, he was so comfortable with them the second time we dropped him off -- he walked right in and roamed around without us (which is rare for Frank). Dane and Tony are very laid back, flexible, and responsive. I have no reservations about having them take care of Frank and know that he is well taken care of.

  Tony and Dane are beyond awesome. My sweet but somewhat anxiety-prone dog is completely and immediately comfortable with them. This means I can relax while I'm away and not worry that my dog is causing problems or having an a doggie emotional episode. Really, I think he has as much fun on our vacations as we do. This is understandable, since Tony and Dane are so fun and chill. They get 5 million stars.

  Dane and Tony were great with my 3 pups! This was my first time leaving the doggies with them and it was stressful for me, I don't like leaving the dogs and I worry about them tremendously--one is very old and not doing too great, one is nervous, one is dangerously allergic to bee stings, etc. So I asked if they could send me multiple updates each day with photos and they more than accommodating! I got lots and lots of email updates, with pictures, and that's exactly what I was looking for. D&T also had no issues with the dogs' food (it's dehydrated raw food, they have to do a bit more to prepare it instead just throwing kibble in a bowl) and one of my pups needs supplements, and they handled that with no problem. The pups were well taken care of and they had a lot of fun. I would definitely go with Dane and Tony again.

  Dane and Tony were great with our (sometimes difficult) dogs! One of them is deaf, the other has leash aggression and together the two of them can be a handful. Everything from the booking to the lead up to the actual stay went very smoothly. You can tell they truly love pups...they got trips to the dog park and lots of love and attention. Would love to have them watch our dogs again!

  Dane and TonyC were wonderful hosts to my little girl, Sachi, a 14 month old 12-lb chihuahua-mix bundle of energy. They were very kind, soft-spoken, and attentive to her wishes. Their home is warm and cozy, and VERY inviting to small dogs who love cuddling with their hosts on soft sofas. She played enthusiastically with the other pups and snuggled up to the wonderful old, very gentle husky who was also visiting. She got lots of walks and playtime which she craves. She saw Tony this morning while we were shopping (in the rain), and I could hardly get her back into my car. There's no doubt that she wants to visit Dane and TonyC again! I recommend them highly.

  So happy to have found Dander Mifflin! Tony and Dane were really nice in the initial meet & greet, and Tony replied to my texts promptly to answer my questions and schedule the first visit. He was very flexible re. logistics, which was tremendously helpful to me. My dog had a great time at Dander Mifflin, and I'm sure he loved the walks, the dog park outing, and all the snuggle time. He came back happy and tired.

  Tony is amazing! He is incredibly responsive, kind, and has such a chill disposition that puts both myself and my pup at ease. My dog Milo is a rescue so he has some nervousness around new people, but he took to Tony really quickly. After a week or so he is already at the belly rub stage when Tony walks in. I will definitely be continuing to have him walk Milo and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dog walker, dog sitter, or dog bff.

  Dane and Tony did a great job taking care of our two Chihuahuas while we were traveling for 12 days. We received a detailed email during our trip about how the pups were doing and asking us for information to better understand how to take care of them. We would definitely recommend!

  Thank you, Tony and Dane, for taking such great care of Gus last weekend! It was hard to leave him for three days, but knowing he was in your capable hands allowed us to enjoy our trip. He was exhausted when we brought him home yesterday, another great sign that he was active, stimulated, and way too busy to miss us. I would gladly recommend you to other dog owners—and you haven't seen the last of Gus!

  After meeting with several boarding services in an attempt to find a suitable boarding environment for my dogs (Henry and June), I set up a meeting with Tony through DogVacay. When I first met with Tony my initial impression was that he was intelligent, responsible, and sensitive; sensitive to both my overprotective concerns and the idiosyncratic needs of my dogs, Henry and June (Frenchies with the typical brachiocephalic issues). I just picked up Henry and June after their six day stay at Dale and Tony’s and I can state without equivocation that my initial impression was on target. While I travelled I was put at ease by Tony’s responsiveness (with bonus adorable pics of Henry and June), and Henry and June were happy, healthy, and relaxed when I picked them up. I have already lined up another Henry and June vacay at Dale and Tony’s, and of course I would recommend Dale and Tony to anyone looking for a safe, responsible, and caring boarding situation.

  Wow. Dane and Tony were awesome. Paddy was very comfortable in their care and looked absolutely happy when we picked him up. Great dogvacay people! I bet Paddy can't wait to see them again.

  Tony watched Willee the Pug and did a great job managing Willee's separation anxiety. Plan to use Tony over and over again. Willee gets excited just driving up the drive way and cannot wait to get in the door to his new BFF Tony. Michelle

  Dane and Tony are THE BEST. My dog is slow to warm up to some strangers, and definitely slow to warm up to other dogs -- she loved them immediately, and didn't seem to want to leave when I came to pick her up after the first day. They even socialize her to try to get her more used to other dogs, to great success so far. They've had no problems with getting her her medication, and they go out of their way (literally) to make sure she's well taken care of. Super flexible, super responsible, and best yet, very excellent with dogs. I feel SO grateful and lucky to have found them! I'll never go anywhere else as long as they're available.

  They were great. Very flexible. And they didnt freak out when my dog got a hot spot the day I dropped him off. They treated the hot spot with no problems... didnt even bat an eye. And when I went to pick Reese up he was content and not anxious to leave at all. I imagine that he will be happy to return next time... I have already booked another stay.

  Dane and Tony looked after our dog over a weekend and were great. Really nice guys, very relaxed, and our dog came home happy and tired.

  Thank you very much for taking care of us, while our parents were away. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. We know our parents were worried about us especially worried about the two of you, because we can be a handful. But because you were so sweet with us we had no choice but to be good! We tried very hard! Tony and Dane gave us lots of Huggs and kisses. We will tell all our doggie pals to go there on vacation.
