About Me

We have a large home located in Ashford Park which is approximatley 3 miles from I-85. The home is very open and dog friendly. There is a large front porch where the dogs can relax during the hot afternoons. There is always access to the fenced backyard. I strongly believe in exercise, my husband takes the boys to the dog park every morning (weather permitting) where they can run, chase squirrels and of course play with other dogs. Time permitting we visit the park again in the early evening or take a long walk in the neighborhood.

After retiring from the stressful corporate world, I decided to do something I loved.
I now have the time to spend with the animals I love, to really enjoy walking and playing with them in the park. It has taught me how to "live in the moment".

    Trudy and her husband are very nice and obviously love dogs. Our lab came home lame for 2 days and with a horrible rash under his collar. There were many bowls of food left all around inside and we feed our dogs only 2x/day. The house is chaotic with dogs which I think leads to a lack of attention to detail. I was looking for a home environment that would be similar to ours to there would be minimal stress and maximum attention for our dogs while we are away on a long trip. Unfortunately, this was not it for us. For dogs who love to play non stop and can resist free food, this would be a great option.

    Molly seems to really enjoy her stays. When we arrive she runs right in to greet the other dogs and does not look back! Trudy takes her charges to the park for exercise and the dogs have full run of her house so no crates or cages. I believe a bath is included if the stay is over a week. I plan to keep booking with Trudy. PS
